Review of Fairfield Cypress Palms posted

Just posted a Review of Fairfield Cypress Palms Resort in the Trip Reports forum, for anyone who is considering this place for a timeshare stay. We were so pleasantly surprised - we really enjoyed our stay much more than we'd anticipated.

While in the area, we stopped by Sheraton Vistana Villages to walk the grounds one evening. Beautiful, really pretty at night! Waterfalls at the lake and at the pool, nice landscaping. Romantic.

We were also amazed at how much new construction has been completed in the area near the DTD exit off I-4. Nice restaurants, Dixie Stampede, hotels, the new Hilton HGVC Tuscany, Publix... wow. All new in the last couple of years and it couldn't have been more than 2-3 miles from DTD.

We drove around Gaylord Palms but didn't have time to park and walk. Huge! Very pretty buildings. The surrounding area is probably next for major developments, IMHO.

I'm glad to hear that you had a good time. We own at Cypress Palms but haven't been back since we bought it in 2000. We'll be staying at nearby Star Island in May. Can't wait!
