review of Disney Atlantis Aquaventure excursion

We are doing the Comfort Suites in about 5 weeks if you could run though the process please.

Great review!!! I am very interested in taking my family there on our Dream Cruise next year!
Is there a website to book the comfort Suites??? I certainly would like to know I am booking the correct hotel!:goodvibes

Yep, I did a review on this years ago. (We did it the Disney way too and after reading this review it sounds like not much has changed from when we did it)

Here is my review with LOTS of pics! It starts on Post 50.

HTH! Have fun! :thumbsup2

Wow! Wish I'd found this when I was researching before the trip. I literally spent HOURS looking. Great pics!

Can you answer two questions for me??? So you didn't have to listen to a long tour once you got to Atlantis you were free to go??? I had heard there was a 1/2 hour to hour talk before you were let free???? Also, you don't have to sign up for a bus to come back, take any of them??? Doing it on our own I liked being able to just leave when I wanted but if you can take any of the busses back on the 1/2 hour that would work.We got a $176 CS room in November but I know when we go next Easter, it will be much higher than that and with a party of 3 it will likely behoove me to just do the disney one. Thanks so much!!

No, I had read about people having to do a tour, but really other than her pointing things out as we were walking by them anyway, there wasn't a guided tour. Definitely not 1/2 an hour. And yes, you take any bus back. Buses run from 1 pm to 5 pm on the half hour. There were also plenty of cabs around if by chance you missed the last bus.

Did you use the lockers? Were they far from the pool/slide area? Great review, BTW...

No, we didn't use the lockers. I had one of those little cases around my neck for my keys/money. Our only personal stuff was our coverups and shoes, so I just took the risk that they'd be OK. Lockers were pretty conveniently located though.

www.comfortinn.com, put nassau in for location and it'll pop up. It specifically says it's adjacent to Atlantis, so you'll be sure you have the right one.

Just off the Wonder last week. We did Atlantis the Comfort Suites way with no problems whatsoever. If anyone has any questions, I would be happy to answer them. We booked at a rate of $200/night. With taxes and add ons, our total was $268.

I'd love to know how you found $200 a night! I looked almost every day from December right up til we left for Florida on April 10 and it never budged from $298 plus taxes and fees.

I just booked the comfort inn for our Feb 2011 Dream cruise. It showed up as $220 , I got a 10% AAA discount ($198), with taxes and fees it wound up being about $251. I hope it works out for us! I am a little bit nervous about making it back to the boat in time!

I booked the $200/night for April 16th back around October or November. You are right, it went up around December and it never came down.
