too dark too nauseating..my head felt like it was gonna get torn off..anyone else hate it?

It is one of my favorite rides but different rides appeal to different people. I have never found the appeal of Test Track and am not crazy about Space Mountain. Other people love it.

hate space mountain but like test track..one of my favorites was monster inc.-made me laugh:rotfl:

I love the Mummy, and I'm a roller coaster whimp.

me:rolleyes1 , i've got an excuse though - bad neck;)i'm the one who's not supposed to ride anything....what fun is that? lol

liked the theming, just felt as though my head was about to snap off when we shot up the hill 1st time I rode it.

interestingly, DH & DS both feel as though that part has been "toned down" substantially since our 1st visit. They are urging me to give it another shot in Dec.?:confused3 maybe

i'm thinking nothing was mechanically changed, moreso once you ride it you know it's coming & can prepare?

Hey, TMs...anyone know for sure?

I need to take motion sickness pills to do the rides but still enjoyed the rotm. I would need a much stronger drug to find monster inc. funny. As phamton suggested, to each their own.

My only complaint about ROTM is...it's not long enough. ;)

Sadly as most other rides as well.

But I really do enjoy ROTM . I've been on some big coasters so in my older age I really like the theming and this is a real good one.

I hope to get back to it this year or next now that DD is really getting the coaster bug as well.

I love it, but it is a little jerky. The speed and banking turns are just great!

Do what I tell Bubba to do....keep yer head pressed against the back of the headrest....no room to "snap" back...it's already there ;)

I'd agree with you there.....especially the second half....waaaaay too short :sad2:

In my opinion, not counting the bigger coasters at Busch or IOA or Kraken at Sea World,Revenge of the Mummy is one of my favorite rides at any Florida park.As others said the only problem is that it's not long enough, but those pops of airtime in the coaster section more than make up for it.But I understand how some people like some rides more than others, others mentioned Test Track and Space Mountain,I love both those rides, but I've never gotten the appeal of Mission Space, and it's not the forcefulness of the G's it creates,I can handle that without a problem and it's my favorite part of the ride,my problem is that I just find the simulator part boring,I love Soarin since it does give you a more realistic feel.but that little screen in Mission Space doesn't do it for me.

I did find this ride to be jerky, it did make me feel alittle bit sick. I found out that if you sit on the left side it's worse than the right side, which is smoother.

When I rode it at the APH opening party I was sick for hours. I've rode a couple dozen times since after taking dramamine and have been OK. I can't really say I like it and would never ride it alone. Just mainly ride it for my kids.

I love Expedition Everest....(feel it is a smooth ride)...and Space Mountain...if I sit in the front....I don't like Rockin Roller Coaster...but, will ride it if I have to (with somebody else who wants to ride it)....Believe it or not...I am finding Thunder Mountain to be a bit Jerky for my taste....:)

Can The Mummy Ride be compared to any of these? I know that there is a time when it goes backwards...(just as EE)....but, I think I can fight the nasuea because ( on EE) when it goes backwards, it goes up...and it's very cool inside.
:rotfl: Otherwise, I never could tolerate the "backwards only" roller coasters...:sad2: Would the 'backwards" part length of time be compared to EE?

My Ds 15 is chicken when it comes to coasters and for a matter of fact I am too until talked into it but I got him on rotm this year and he was surprised and loved it and now all I hear is if we get to go next year will I ride it agian with him.:lmao:

Well...12 of us will be going on it in February....I'm willing to give it a try...:scared1: Just wanted to see the comparisons....:)
