Returning to MK during night time festivities

On the last night of our trip we'll leave the MK for an 8:05 PM 'Ohana reservation. We plan to return to MK after dinner. On this particular night the parade is at 9 PM, CtM is at 9:45, Wishes is at 10 and a second CtM is at 10:35. EMH last until 1 am. Please help me plan a route for arriving during a time when Main Street is so packed. We plan on heading to the rides after dinner. What is the best way to get through the crowds upon our evening arrival? I don't care what part of the park we go to, whichever is easiest to navigate. And how crowded are the 2nd CtM shows? How early should we be back on Main Street to get good spots for the 10:35 showing? Thank you!

You probably won't get back to MK til after 9:30, so the parade won't be an issue. You just need to avoid the hub. If you're REALLY lucky, maybe the Main Street bypass will be open - it would dump you out near Tomorrowland Terrace. (Except I can't remember if it's only a one way street going the other way). Otherwise, it's a matter of fighting the crowds until you get to the hub and veering off to Tomorrowland or Adventureland. Personally, I'd go through all the shops until I got to the hub.

I'd estimate the return to MK at closer to 10PM.

You're right about the return time. And if that's the case, the OP might as well just stake out their spot in the Hub for the 2nd CtM show.

I would plan on arriving at MK about 10 which would be time to get ready for CtM show
