Returning merchandise, no receipt

I bought my grandchildren pirate costumes from the store at POTC and neither one of them want them. I have lost the receipt. Is there any way to return these for a refund/credit?
 
Are you still in Disney? If they still have the tags on them they may give you a refund if you return them in person. I'm not sure what to do if you're no longer on property.
 
I haven't returned items without a receipt, only exchanged (a light up toy that didn't work properly, and a t-shirt with a small hole in it). I was told it's easier to do at the store it was purchased from, and preferably with the CC used to buy it. (Although I did exchange the shirt at a different park when we saw the same design of shirt, rather than hop to the park it was originally bought at.)
 
Are you still at DW? When we returned an item without a receipt we were given a merchandise credit that could be used at any Disney operated store in DW.

If you are already home I would call Merchandise Guest Services (877-560-6477) and ask what your options are.
 

If your still there and the tags are on them go to any store. My mom got me a shirt which didn't fit (in January). I kept it and returned it (in March when we went) tags but no receipt. I have no idea where she bought it but I returned it to the POP gift shop with no problem , I received a gift card.
