Returning item purchased in the park

Has anyone ever returned something they purchased in the park 9 months later? We purchased a book during our June vacation and when we got it home the kids looked at it twice and the pages started falling out. Evidently, the binding is not very strong. We bascially put it up on the shelf and haven't looked at it since. I know I have the receipt because I save all my Disney receipts. Since it was defective do you think they would accept it back when we go down in March? I would really just like to exchange it for one that has better binding.

Absolutely. It will be no problem especially if you have the reciept. When I worked on Main St, every once in a blue moon we would get a return.

Absolutely they will return it - I had the same thing happen. Last December my sister bought my neice a light up pen at AKL as we were leaving for home. When she got home and my neice tried to use it and it never worked. I ended up going back to AKL in May and I brought it back with the reciept. We really wanted to get her the same thing but they didn't have it anymore so they gave me my money back. Can't beat that for customer service.

When we went last I bought some Christmas ornaments. I had them boxed and sent to the room and would not let the kids open them at the resort. When I unpacked them at home my DS's Buzz and Woody ornament was broken. I could not find the reciept. I called Disney to see if I could buy a replacement. After hearing my story a new one was shipped to me for nothing. They really are great!

My brother went to Epcot and bought a shirt in June one year. He lives in Arizona and I am in MIchigan. THere was a problem with the shirt and he needed to return it but wasn't going back for a few years. I was going that AUgust, so, he gave the shirt to my mom, who came to Michigan from Arizona, and she gave it to me. I took it back and exchanged it, and when I got home, mailed it to him in Arizona. No problem at all.

What if you don't have a receipt? DH bought a t-shirt in DTD that fits a little too snugly on him, he would like to have a bigger size. He has never worn it and the tags (not hte price tags) are still in the collar.

We bought this in Aug 2005, and we are returning in Jan....I'm hoping they will accept, it is a fairly recent model so I don't think it has been discontinued.

I have a watch that I purchased on Main Street last March. It was our last day there and the jeweler had already left for the night. The CM told me that any jeweler could fit the watch for me.

I get home and take the watch out to realize that it doesn't have a clasp at all, so a local jeweler couldn't do it. I don't think that I have the reciept still, but it is in the original box and bag.

Do you think they will still size the watch?
