returning cruisers? referral card?

To receive the first time cruisers credit (CTC code), I need a referral card from a previous cruiser. Does anyone have one they would be willing to send to me?

Never heard of such a thing...and I've done 10 cruises on the Magic. However, I live in a state where it is illegal to get anything for referring a person to DVC, so don't know if that matters.

I've never seen or heard of a referral card.

kcasner, spoke to a CM from DCL. She said cards are handed out to disembarking passengers and that is what I need to have the CTC code applied.

Anyone able to help me out? Would be much appreciated.

I would call DCL back and speak to another CM. I have also sailed 10 times and never, ever heard of a referral card, or was I ever handed anything like that when we disembarked.

I used one the first time I cruised. I got it from someone who had cruise before. Then after the cruise when we got the castaway club info in the mail there were 3 postcards in there to give to others. If I remember correctly they had an expiration date on them. I think it was for a 50 stateroom credit (don't remember that was 2 years ago. I thought they had done away with that program, but I guess not (or they started it up again)

We have cruised 4 times in the past 4 years, my daughter & husband have cruised 5 times over the past 5 years---no referral card was ever given out, never read any info about it on the cruise or in any of the paperwork before & after cruise--this is the first I've ever heard of it--don't believe that it really exsists!

Sounds like to me that all you have to do is tell them you're a first time cruiser!

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who's never heard of this. We've done 10 cruises, and I've never been handed anything on disembarkation--a handshake and goodbye from one of the kid counsellors is the standard!

I remember reading about first timer cruisers referrals on the DU website back in December when I booked my cruise. However when I booked my cruise the TA at DU said they no longer do that. I just looked to see if the info was still on DU's website but don't see it.
