Whethet too much information was posted or not, I can't say. I will say Thank You for posting your impressions. I was wondering whether to sign up or not and if it worked that well over a week that is that busy, I think I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the TGM review. We have subsribed to him for our June Trip . We are expecting large crowds and will try to do it the "TGM Way" for the most part. It's just DW and myself so if a line is too long we just wont wait. I'd rather walk around the park for 2 hours than wait in a line that long.

I am confused. What TGM info was "released" by the OP? I thought she gave people considering buying into TGM a great testimonial, and gave TGM free advertisement. All that was posted was the order in which they had rode things. I don't think she crossed the line by any means.

I subscribe to TGM and I saw nothing in the OP's post that was unethical. I also have several other guides that say the exact same thing she posted. Common sense tells you to be at rope drop. Of course, not everyone uses common sense.

To the OP: sometimes people on the DIS are a little overboard. Don't blame yourself. Everyone here just loves WDW so much, it makes us a bit crazy.

I agree with TINK - I don't think this detail from TGM should be posted.

Iam glad you had a good time and the plan worked well for you...but i don't think you should be posting the "plan" here....Its against tour guides mikes rules to post info you got on his site elsewhere...I think you have crossed the line.

Come on. I have TGM and I am not upset at all at what the OP posted. She was not disclosing any information. If anything, it was an advertisment for TGM. She did not disclose any AVP info that isn't already known. People need to lighten up.

Honestly, I do not want to argue about this. All I was saying is that I did NOT learn anything new from the OP's post that I didn't already know WITHOUT TGM! I am assuming Mike does give out info on his site that is far more detailed and helpful than what has been posted within this thread (since everything posted here can easily be found lots of other places, free of charge). And I think he offers a wonderful service for those who need it. I have nothing against TGM.

The point was that the OP wasn't giving out any info I didn't already know--this is the way we already tour. I defended her because I didn't think she deserved the flames she was receiving. Lets just all try to get along... OK?

I don't think the Op has gotten any flames...i was polite..But she has broken the TGM rule pre and simple...there is no getting away from that...it doesn't matter if she shared a little info or a lot..the fact is she shared info ...info that I did not know til i joined TGM even though I have ben here on the dis for ages.

Glad to hear how well it worked. I agree most of the info was generic, however posting the plan did break TGM rules. As a paying subscriber I feel to obtain the detailed info others should pay as well. Just my 2 cents.

Actually the OP has posted a detailed plan the she announces in her thread title is from tour guide mike...this is clearly against the rules of the TGM site..Iam not surprised you are thanking the OP...you no longer need to sign up to TGM to get the MK plan.
And FYI...lots and lots of disers do not know how to tour the TGM way...I also think this thread should be deleted.

OP--glad you had a fun trip. We were at MK the same morning as you! The line for Space was enormous by the time we finished riding and we were one of the first riders!

Bluwater, I invited two people to join us on BTMRR 4/4 since I had a pass for 5, and only three of us were riding. The man and his daughter already had FP's so he gave them to someone in line. Was that you? He also said he had two more FP's which he had given away because the other 2 in his party didn't want to ride. Maybe that was you?

We entered the MK right at 8, power walked to wake up Tink and rode everything in FL before 9 except that famous Dumbo. Dumbo had a 30 minute line by 8:11AM.

Hi folks.

I'm a TGM subscriber, and I don't get what all the fuss is about. I don't see any revealing information that anyone who has surfed these boards, or any Disney World planning site wouldn't already know.

For now, I will leave this up because nothing violates DIS guidelines. I have E-Mailed the webmasters and are waiting for clarification on what constitutes a violation of Mike's policy.

Were you misled by the title of my post? It reads 'HOW TGM Worked" meaning ...YEs, it worked...not exactly HOW. I wonder if any of you really know the TGM secrets, because, if you do, you will know that I did not divulge them. DID ANYONE READ THAT I WAS ALSO THANKING the dis??!! I got much more info from THE DIS than I did from TGM. I got small gems from TGM, which I kept to myself. They were things I had never known. Though, I have seen them posted on THE DIS. WHen I have seen them posted on THE DIS, I have posted replies with disclaimers like "that doesn't ALWAYS work" because I don't want everyone using them.

Frankly, i was very careful not to post any of the true secrets. What I posted is basic, common sense. If you paid TGM to tell you things like...arrive at rope drop, get Fastpasses, eat earlier than everyone else, then that isn't my fault. I wouldn't have paid TGM to tell me things that everybody knows. Anyone who has gone to WDW at least once knows that you should do all of the above. Heck, even first timers know this. Ever been to Six Flags or other theme parks? Same theory! Ever been to a large tourism city? Yes, eating at off-times is a standard approach.

Frankly, my tour plan came from THE DIS...not TGM. I posted my tour plan HERE on THE DIS before I left! I also posted the same plan on TGM. Becuase THE DIS is larger than TGM is size of readership, I got many more replies here on THE DIS and I used THAT advice to adjust my plan. TGM did not offer a 1 Day MK plan that worked for me and my DD. He has other plans, but none that cover children'srides AND adult/thrill rides for 1 day. If he does have one, I couldn't find it. I looked and looked. So, my tour plan is THANKS TO THE DIS!

TGM does not give you a plan (as someone else already pointed out). Mike has samples, and none of them would have worked for me. I customized my own plan, posted it here, got some feedback about revising a couple of things (search my old posts and you'll see) and then I revised my plan.

When we hit the park, I didn't exactly stick to my plan because I was getting through faster than expected and I was able to hop on some rides that I had planned to hit later in the day. We did what worked for us on that day...which would not work for others on other days, I'm sure. You cannot take this stuff so seriously. I think some of you need a vacation....at someplace other than Disney.

So, aside from the tour plan (from THE DIS) and the fact that I ate meals at odd hours (uhhhh....kind of common sense, isn't it?)....what did I divulge from TGM? I CAN make a list of secrets from TGM that I used, but I suspect you'd rather me not do that. IF you TGMers rreally think that rope drop, eating at odd hours and having a tour plan is a break in the TGM ethics, then you've obviously missed the gems in TGM site and I think you need to go there and spend more time there, than here......because you are missing what really got me through these parks in record time.

Sheesh. And for the people PMing me...stop. I am not going to edit my post. I did not divulge any secrets. I was being nice by thanking TGM. If I hadn't mentioned TGM, would any of this really look like news to anyone here? I think not. I think you would all just say "yep, same old basic WDW plan info...glad she used our suggestions and had a nice time".

I got Flamed one time for mentioning TGM on another thread, I got a PM too, and was told to REMOVE my post, this wasn't a Moderator either. I removed it anyway, but had a sour taste in my mouth ever since. I am also a Member of TGM and don't mind at all, if someone tells me it worked for them, I have used it before it DOES WORK!!!
