Does anyone have a great budget friendly place to order them?

I think about this every year as I'm writing my return address on our Christmas cards by hand but always forget to order them until it comes up again when the next Christmas rolls around because that's about the only "snail mail" I ever send. This is our third Christmas in this house and I still don't have labels with our current address. So this year I'm determined to order them before it slips my mind again!

I ordered mine from Vistaprint with a coupon code the emailed me. I'm sure you can search for a coupon code and find one as they always have them out.

Or you could just buy some blank labels and print your own - super easy. For example, if you use Avery brand labels, you can download the software at their website for whatever label they make.

I can't help you order any, because it seems that every charity I've ever given to, or that wants me to give, sends me return address labels - they arrive about once a week. Because the labels have my name and address, I don't throw them out, and since they're gummed, they make a mess in my shredder. Too much of a free thing.
I use them everywhere: I stuck my name on my PDA and cell phone, since they can get left in meeting rooms. I keep a few labels in my wallet, so I can stick one on precriptions or any form that needs filling out, and before I switched to digital, I stuck one directly on every film canister.
I clip the little icons or pictures off the label sheets and send them to my grandnieces.
Does anyone else have any other suggested uses?

That's what I do. Just print my own.

I print my own. The free ones that come from charities always spell my last name wrong.

I just ordered new ones through Vistaprint. I did not have a coupon but the cost was very reasonable. I selected the slowest option for delivery to save money. I think it stated they would arrive in like 2 weeks. I thought fine. Well they arrived in like 5 days. I was surprised.

So select the slowest method of shipping (to save costs), it appears they will still get them to you quickly. :thumbsup2

I also have address labels stacking up. I keep thinking I want to order some of my own with a design I've chosen, but I can't bring myself to do it when I have so many! I also clip off the icons and use them as stickers.

I print my own at home. Just go to Staples and by the blank labels. It will take about 10 seconds to type in one address and then make a document and you will get a page of labels.

Same here. I don't think I will ever run out, because I so infrequently send anything (other than greeting cards) through the mail.

I also have some that came free with purchase when I ordered custom checks (Disney of course!) a couple years back. Since I write maybe 1 check a month with the advent of online bill paying, I will probably never run out of those either!

Another suggestion for you, since you say you only need them at the holidays. Shops like Walmart/Target, etc in their holiday aisles have blank holiday labels that you print on your own printer. Wait until the after holiday clearance and scoop them up very inexpensively.

IMHO if you moved, you should enclose a piece of paper with your address in the envelope. Many people, myself included, don't save envelopes. The return address on the outside is to benefit you and/or the post office in case the (regular) address is not readable, for example washed off.

Which gets me thinking ... Don't use an inkjet printer to make address labels with. The ink will run if it gets wet.

Make a $5 donation to St. Judes and you will have labels until the day you die.

Buy staples brand avery 5160 labels or the smaller version and design/print your own in publisher or word. You can make tons for under $10 and they can have what icons/fonts/etc you want on them.

I make a different one every christmas to match the theme of our letter.

I just print my own. I also sometimes print the return address right on the envelope. Depends on my mood.

Same here - but I use the free ones for bills I still mail in.

I usually buy matching ones at the office supply ones to go with or complement my cards.

I just print my envelopes.... Have an excel spreadsheet with all my 'To' addresses and then do a mail merge right onto the envelope (complete with return address). Some may consider it a little impersonal - however with 2 little kids if I didn't do it that way there is a good chance I wouldn't get any card out!!
