Since this year will be the return of Main Street Electrical Parade, I wondered what would be the one thing DIS'ers would like to see return for parades, fireworks, street performances and stage shows?

The original Illuminations...
That was the only Illuminations worth watching. It has now deteriorated to the point where two cast members standing on the barge waving sparklers would be more entertaining.

When did they stop the original Illuminations? I remember seeing it when I went in Disney in 1999 and then when I went this past year I *thought* it was different but I wasn't 100% sure. Just wondering if I saw the same one you're talking about

This is at least the third version. They got rid of the original for the year 2000 celebration.
Even though they haven't changed it in several years now, it's extremely obvious the number and quality of pyrotechnics has been cut back every year.

I really enjoyed the Tapestry of nations parade as well. You'd think they would continue a parade throughout all the countries, at least when there wasn't a special event going on when it was too crowded.

I agree, Tapestry of Nations needs to come back. I saw it once during my first trip to WDW, and then never got to see it again . I listen to the parade's soundtrack every once in a while... brings back very faint memories of how fantastic it was.

Another vote for Tapestry of Nations!! That was the first parade my (then) little ones had seen. I'll never forget my son's eyes when one of the CM's walked up and reached out to him. The costumes were wonderful and still love listening to the music.

I would like to see the return of The Electrical Parade to DCA. hahah
But seriously, I was in Disneyland back in 2004 I think it was, and there was a parade, I have no idea what it was called, but it had a Mulan section in it, and I just remember it being the COOLEST thing ever. How about they bring that back?
