Wow! Am I glad I have lots of OKW points! As a DVC member, who is retired, spending about 4 weeks each year snowbirding in a DVC resort in January and/or February, I just read that SSR would cost me about 18 points more per week for my one bedroom than OKW does, a total of 74 points for my normal 26 day stay.
Someone on these boards once said that OKW will become a retirement village. I doubt that, unless younger people stop appreciating value.
What will happen is that seniors (notorious planners) will make it difficult to book during low point periods using the 7 month window.
