I guess it depends if they want to set a definitive time every day, or move it around. If they want a definitive time, 8:30 seems likely, though in mid to late April they could get away with 8:00. The Disney website describes this as a "sunset" show.In mid-late April, the earliest the show could start would be 8:15-8:30PM.
A Story at Sundown Set Aglow
Be enchanted by a brilliant spectacle of glowing lanterns, magical fireflies, dancing fountains and animal spirits.
As sunlight fades and the stars begin their twinkle, remember the instinctual feeling that we are all bound together by earth and spirit—past, present and future.
Fading sunlight doesn't sound as if they need to wait for total darkness to set in before starting the show. On April 22, the sun sets at 7:55., so 8:00 is doable. However, on June 22, sunset is at 8:26, so an 8:30 start seems likely. So I think it all depends on whether they want to pick one time and stick to it, or whether they want to link this up to the actual sunset. If they do the latter, then in the winter months, the show would have to start around 5:30-6:00.
