Rethinking First Day... help me decide please!

Hi Everyone,

I am arriving on 6/9, with my 10 yr old son. We are arriving at MCO at 10:30am.... taking DME to POR.
We were planning (that first day) on relaxing by the pool, going to DTD then to All Star Sports for Pin Trading.... and not going to a Park.

But now, I am thinking we should go to a park... because we are only there for 3 full days... leaving Monday 6/13.
I do not want to skip DTD completely, because I always enjoy it there.....

What are your suggestions? Please Vote and Comment!

I would go to a park each day and try to do DTD one night.

It depends. How many times have you been to each park? Would you really miss something if you didn't go to one that day? If it was me, I'd stick with the original plans.

This is my 8th trip... but Kyle's 2nd. He is not the type of kid who wants to do every ride... more just for the experience. I think he is looking forward to the Pool and the Food more than the rides!
We know we will miss some things.. but plan on doing EMH each morning we are there. I just hope three days are enough.

I voted for MGM. I think it is a smaller park and you could easily get a lot accomplished there. Of course this also depends on what you would like to see and do there. We ususally do MGM our first day and then see Fantasmic that night.

Of all the Disney trips I have taken I have done MGM my first day except one time. I think this is a good park to go to when you don't have a full day.
