I recently found out that we are expecting our second child. :bounce:

I was wondering if there are any restrictions in the Spa for pregnant guests? Getting a facial in the Spa is one of my favorite things and I've been looking forward to it since we booked our cruise. TIA

Stimpy - congratulations!

If pregnant, you still must be over age 18 to use the spa. I believe this irritated several women from Kentucky (they were all related)...

A facial would not be contraindicated. Pregnant women even get massages but you may be limited to certain areas and of course lying on your stomach might be uncomfortable.
You are aware that you may not cruise after 23 weeks. If you are 24 or more weeks along you may not cruise so be sure your cruise is before that time.

I've read that steam rooms are also a no-no for pregnant women -- not 100% on that since I've never been pregnant nor am I from Kentucky.

Just let them know you're pregnant, and they'll tell you what you can/cannot do. I don't think a facial would be prohibitive, just possibly slightly modified. Any steam room and saunas will be off limits, as well as the hot tubs on board. Congrats and enjoy your cruise!!

Thanks! I'll only be 8 weeks along and Dr says it's ok to still go. Also, I'm over 18.....by a few years LOL
