Restricted # on my cell phone

A 'restricted number' has been calling my cell phone for the last 4 days between 3am and 5am. Who in the world could this be??? I don't give out my cell number but to only people I know.

My boss has a restricted number on his cell phone, so when he makes calls, people will not know who he is, if they have caller ID.

Otherwise it could be a telemarketer with restrictions. I love caller ID, usually when it is a telemarketer, it has a 800 number first. I'm always worried though, that I might miss a phone call from Disney, saying I won their sweepstakes. LOL

Could be someone in a different time zone that just has a wrong number... I have an unlisted number for my house, and learned that that also means anyone I call who has caller ID, my number shows up as "restricted." Even my DH's cell! He never knows it's me! But if I remember to dial *82, it will unblock my number...

Just sounds like a wrong number.

No but it probably is something similiar, there are auto dial programs for Fax machines that call in the wee hours of the morning looking for other fax machines. If when calling the auto dialer gets the proper response from the number it sends "spam faxes". Seriously, every morning at work there are two or three of these junk faxes on our work fax. The calls to your cell phone will probably stop by the end of the week. You might just try turning it off for the next couple of nights.
