Are there any Disney TS restaurants that you won't even consider trying? If so, which one(s) and why?

Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, and Chef Mickey's, because they're character meals and the food isn't interesting enough to make it worth it for us. :duck:

Great question!

Coral Reef - I'm a vegetarian, DH isn't, and he isn't a big seafood fan.

TS in Japan or China. They just have no appeal to me. I love Thai food, but Chinese and Japanese food just don't appeal to me.

San Angel Inn. Bad Mexican food.

Hollywood & Vine... Our kids have 0 interest in the specific characters at breakfast/lunch and I just don't see enough postive feedback to justify trying it for the food alone.

H&V - the reviews scare me

CRT - I have boys who have no interest in seeing the inside of the castle (and actually, neither do I!)

Rainforest - BTDT.

I won't eat at Shulas because they have live lobsters out for display and I can't handle that. If they ever stop flashing those things around, I'll be eating there in a heartbeat.

Hollywood & Vine- it just looks so boring
Rainforest Cafe- I've been to so many others, they're all the same: overpriced with very mediocre food amid lots of chaos
Marrakesh- not into Mediterranean foods

I have no desire to eat at Teppan Edo. We live in the Chicago area, and we have MANY habachi/tepanyaki restaurants that are outstanding that we frequent often. No need to do it at Disney.

Hollywood and Vine...no interest for the kids at ALL
Marrakesh...I LOVE Morrocan, but Tangierine is enough venturing out there for us and we love the Swarhma:love:
Bistro de Paris...to upscale for us and not a big fan of French food. Chefs is good enough for us:)
Tony's Town Square...too many bad reviews and I'm Italian so it would be unfair comparison:laughing:

I almost hate to admit this but V&A's. The menu just doesn't appeal to me. I don't like the idea of spending that much money on food I may not like.

:tinker:

Nine Dragons... I don't think I have heard one good review for this place.

Right there with ya! I honestly wouldn't eat there even if it were free:lmao:

I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that there are a lot of restaurants in Disney we haven't tried yet (49 trips), but some are on our "probably never" list:

Plaza Restaurant in MK: I mean, why? :confused3

Jiko: We have a kid with a peanut allergy (we did eat in Boma, though)

Rose & Crown: When we think good food, we just don't think England. We've eaten the fish and chips from the CS there, and that was enough for us. I had fish burps the rest of the afternoon.

The restaurant that overlooks IASM-I think Pinocchio? Again, why? :confused3 lol...

Three 'never agains':

Mama Melrose

Hollywood and Vine

50's Prime Time Cafe

I'm cracking myself up as I just realized all of our really BAD dining experiences have been in DHS! :lmao:

I'm proud to say that we'll be adding Narcoosies to our "BTDT" list this september, I'm excited!

Chef de France and Liberty tree tavern. I don't care for the menu and I have no idea about food at a french restaurant. I don't eat veggies or mashed potatoes, so that leaves a few that I will not go to.

I should probably never say never, but I don't think we'll do Biergarten. I really don't like buffets but we do the character ones because DD lurves:lovestruc them so much:rotfl:.

V&A, I don't think I could ever spend that much money on food.
Hollywood & Vine the reviews are way too bad
Rainforest Cafe-we have one at home, not that great of food.

Nine Dragons and Teppan Edo for me. I like Chinese and Japanese food, but I eat those around here so often. There are lots of other things I'd like to try when I'm at WDW.

Biergarten, Cape May dinner, and Hollywood & Vine - I tolerate buffets for characters, but without them or with characters we aren't interested in, there's just no appeal (Boma is a never-again for the same reason; Tusker House skates by as a "maybe" because the food was good and there's only one other AK TS on the DDP, and a buffet is a lesser evil than counter service).

50s Prime Time and Whispering Canyon - None of us are into the antics. The menus look pretty good at both, but I've no desire to be teased about elbows on the table or have straws thrown at me at mealtime.
