Restaurants you did not like

hollywood and vine lunch buffet, just not up to par with other buffets, yuck

MK - Tony's. Never again! (Did have a really bad burger at King Stephen's once, but we aren't counting defunct restaurants, are we?)

Epcot - Its actually certain dishes I'll never order again, like the Tamarind at Rose & Crown, or that new lemon dill salmon at Le Cellier. I don't like the food from Nine Dragons, though, plus bad CS. I thought we'd never get the check to begin with, and then another half hour before he came back with our cards!

DHS - Mama Melrose, hands down worst ever!!! Caveat - I've never even darkened the door of ABC Commissary. Any place that advertises putting lettuce and tomato on a Cuban sandwich is not a place I want to eat, ever, LOL!

We're probably in the minority here but the Cali Grille was TERRIBLE. I can't even get DH to consider trying it again. The service was horrible, the food was worse. Never, ever again. :sad2:

The other meal that was a disaster was dinner at CRT . I was so disappointed because we love breakfast there. We're giving CRT dinner another try in September though.

My one and only vote goest o Mama Melrose... just plain horrible; food was not edible, cold, slow service, just awful all around.

I can see a pattern here of certain restaurants that I will be crossing off my list. Thanks!

Just a word of caution. You'll see just about every resturant in WDW on this list. I always prefer to go and decide for myself. Everyone has different tastes.

My list of dislikes:

1. Boatwright's - Ate dinner there. The food was horrible.
2. Fulton's - Hated the crabcake. There was too much filler.
3. ABC Commissary - yuck:eek:

I would first say the place we won't even stop at is ABC. We've tried it several times and have yet to like it.

That being said everyone's opinions are different. I have to say there are no TS rest. we will not visit. Yes we have some that if we make it we make it if not we're not sad. I've never gotten a meal that was unedible. Some are better than others but nothing I woudn't eat.

I have to add as well I'm rather happy wherever I sit down to eat. I'm in WDW and I'm eating a meal I didn't have to make or have to clean up.:yay:

Like trip advisor - you get concentrated bad reviews in threads like this. My advice is that mood plays a big part in your experience. Take the opinions expressed here with a grain of salt and form your own opinions based on your own experience. We've eaten at all of the restaurants we're interested in - we've never been to Flying Fish but we're rectifying that omission in May.

I do feel that the last few years have not been kind to Disney Dining. The restaurants are so crowded that service, quality and choice have suffered. We tend to eat more meals offsite now. But, we're giving DDP one more try in May and will base future decisions on that experience.

BTW, the one restaurant I won't return to is Garden Grill. We've been 3 times and it just isn't worth it except fr the characters. Like others though, that's just my opinion. A comment about Mexico - Cantina and San Angel are two of our favorites - go figure. :confused3

One place you never hear any complaints about is R&C which is probably our fav - been there many, many times.

Pretty much any restaurant that participates with the ddp. All becoming cafeteria style copies of each other!:sad2:

Liberty Tree Tavern...we ate dinner there last year and the food was awful. It was dry and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. My dh and I were actually sick to our stomachs afterwards. The character interaction was great but the food not so much!

When we were there last Dec. we ate at ABC and we liked it. I had the Asian Salad and it was really good, so go figure. We didn't like Pecos Bill's. We just didn't get the hype from everyone, food was mediocre and finding a place to sit was a joke, then the fixins bar was disgusting!!! So, that is off our list. We also don't like 1900 Park Faire, the food is ok, but our service for breakfast and dinner (same trip) was absolutely awful!!!! We won't return there for a while. We also, will never return to Hollywood & Vine, it was dirty, we were rushed and the food was subpar!!!

Threads like these always make me chuckle. All I got to say is why is it so hard to get ressies at all of the places that people say are awful? They are always packed! Maybe people will stay away so that I can get a ressie I want

I can hope can't I?

I was reading your siggy. I too have 2 girls 8 years apart. 8 and 3 months. My DH feels the same way yours does we. We also have a female dog and cat!

I have only been to Disnye 5 Times, some place were better then other Like I LOVED Mama Melrose, adn others have said yuck, same for chef mickey loved it people said yuck. HA what i have to say I didn't have to cook it , so yah!
He HE:hippie:

We were not impressed by the Mexico QS as others have said. And I love Taco Bell so it's definitely not as good as there. The quesdilla tasted like burnt butter.

Also, overall I did like Riverside Mill but the fish there was inedible to me. DH liked it though so it goes to show you...
