Restaurants you did not like

ESPN Club - bar food isn't supposed to be great, but everything I have ever had there has just been terrible.

We had a week's worth of TS and CS and I can't say we hated any of our meals, but some certainly stand out more than others. Our two worst meals were Cosmic Ray's (the chicken tenders are like eating erasers), and surprisingly, Ohana's. The best part of that meal was the bread and salad. Everything else was overly sweet, bland, or in the case of the meat, overcooked. The service though was excellent.

I'm ok with these two being the only 2 things that I will go back for... yum. And the potatoes and wontons the USED to have.

Hollywood & Vine
I was disappointed in the side dishes at Ohana for dinner last time and thought that 1900 Park Fare dinner has gone downhill too

Mama Melrose. Ew. Food and service BAD.

Also, Le Cellier...but is wasn't bad...just not all that considering the hype it gets.

I wasn't impressed with Le Cellier either. Neither were my parents. We're all steak people as well. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. But maybe after reading the reviews on here my expectations for it were too high. Either way we'll be skipping it this year!

I didn't like most of the entrees at Pop either. The lo mein and nachos were okay but if not for them I would have starved (okay it wasn't THAT bad but I certainly didn't enjoy eating it). The desserts were good though.

Coral Reef......... The food there was hardly anything to write home about and most importantly, it was the SMALLEST portion you could ever be served! We left there literally STARVING. A tablespoon of this and that is not going to fill you up after walking ten miles in the park! The presentation was again, not worth the prices. Skip it. Go to an aquarium to see fish and avoid the high prices.

Boma--eewww! Noisy, crowded and ridiculously difficult to get your food...waiter keeps saying "there's no lines go wherever you want" Hah! There were lines 20-30 people long at every station. We're adventurous eaters, and we love most ethnic foods. Hated this -- either totally overspiced (and very odd spicing combinations - like cinnamon BBQ ribs - tasted like the sauce was just melted red hots candy) or was totally tasteless (most of the salads & veggies) Zebra domes have to be the most overated dessert ever. Look nice, taste like...nothing. Meh.

Cali Grille...also very overated & overpriced. Food wasn't bad by any means, but not good enough to justify the cost. We didn't even get the view -- they had the blinds down the whole time we were there (5:30-7:30 on a Friday night in May) When people, including us, complained, they raised the blinds about 6 inches so if you scooched down in your seat you could see a little bit of the fabulous view. Enough to know our window seats would have been a lovely view.

CRT.. it was literally inedible and disagreed with our tummies. Coral Reef... barely edible and also made us sick but on the bright side we know where every potty is in Epcot! Chef Mickeys... food was ok but it was a MAD HOUSE and we had a mean Mickey to mowed me and my dessert over.

I have to agree with the negative comments for Coral Reef. DH said his steak was ok, but we took his parents and no one else was impressed because...
1. Overpriced for small portions of "meh" food

2. Terrible setup for checking in at the podium. We had an 11:30am lunch ressie and could not even get in the door to checkin.

3. Our server barely said two words to us. She seemed in a bad mood and tried to rush us...never even asked if we wanted anything to drink other than soda.

4. It was loud with kids climbing all around us to see the aquarium.

Yak and yeti and Teppan Edo
- the food at yak and yeti was not the quality you woud expect from a TS. Teppan Edo uses MSG, food tastes good until the allergic reaction kicks in. So if you have no MSG problems it should be an ok place.

Well, it was a few years ago (2006 I believe) but Mama Melrose's was easily the worst dining experience we ever had. Service, taste, nothing was up to par. I doubt we'd ever return.

'Ohana is on my husband's never again list. The only thing he enjoyed was dessert and he is a total carnivore. I do not like meat...so it sort of lacked for me too. Then I ate too many salty wontons and couldn't get enough water for the rest of the meal. Our waitress really seemed irritated by that which, in turn, turnd me off totally.

Really the only TS we have fallen in love with so far is Jiko. Lately, if we do TS we usually do the character buffets. They have always alright, but we aren't really going to these places for the food anyway.

Our worst meal ever was at Coral Reef. Cold seafood is just nasty. Not once but twice we had this experience.

Runner up is Cape May Clambake. Gritty clams again just nasty. Service was terrible and rude.

Sci Fi diner place was really overpriced greasy nasty hamburgers with some kind of fake milkshakes - chemical tasting. Never again

I disliked Trail's End. Mostly for a customer service issue, but also the small selection of food annoyed me. Also, I love the food at WPE, but it never fails that at least one person in my party gets sick from the food whenever we eat there.

We liked everywhere we ate during our five night stay ---except Chef Mickey's.

Was at the ABC Commissary for breakfast. Nothing good to eat and even the bagel breakfast sandwich was surprisingly bad. Also, Boatwright's at POR is fairly expensive and has mediocre at best food.

Unfortunately there are a few that I would rather starve then eat at again. They are:

WCC (gross food, terrible service, hate the antics)
Hollywood & Vine (terrible food even worse service)
Marrekesh (food was so bland, it tasted like nothing)

We have eaten at almost every place at WDW over the past years. Our biggest disappointment by far was Citricos. The waiter was rude and the food awful. We had guests who were making their first trip to WDW, and this was embarrassing!

That said, I want to toss in that we really like Chef Mickeys. The grandkids love it. There is always something good to eat. It isn't fine dining, but I would never call it horrible.

Planet Hollywood. Food isn't bad but the noise level is headache inducing.

Marrakesh. I'm of Persian heritage and to me, this just isn't anywhere as good.
