Restaurants you did not like

We were not fans of 'Ohana, Coral Reef, or the Biergarten.

The food at 'Ohana and CR was painfully average and the Biergarten, aside from the half liter mugs of Spaten Optimator, was nasty and brown. Citrico's failed to impress as well.

Hands down it has to be YUK and Yeti for us.

Cosmic Ray's and Flame BBQ have both disappointed us in the last visit. Prior to that they were always on our list to visit.

I can honestly say that in all of our trips to WDW, that we have never had an unedible meal (thankfully). We have had a few that were disappointing though...

ABC Commisary...not real good!
Hollywood and Vine...again, the food was subpar

Spoodles...very small selection! It was the only time I can remember, not finding something i "really" wanted to eat! I was disappointed because I had heard so many good things about it! Le Cellier suffers from high expectations too! The food was good, but I was expecting to be overwhelmed!

Yak and Yeti and 'Ohana for us. DD wants to go back to "Ohana for the activities, that ain't happening.

Cosmic Rays wraps were disgusting - I couldn't even eat it (should have ordered the Chicken like dh). I agree with the negative comments on the ABC Commissary - we had hamburgers there that were made of the worse possible hamburger meat ever.

Bomas and SciFi were overrated - we won't be back.

planet hollywood was beyond horrible. flame tree was eh. cali grill way overrated and in my opinion a bad use of ts credits. chef mickeys was typical breakfast but i had great character interaction and service. i think boma is a little overpriced and the food was average. pepper market was not very good at all and looked a little dirty to me.

I wasn't thrilled with Ohana. Food was meh. Service was irritating. I wasn't thrilled with my food at Restaurant Marrakesh either. Neither was terrible but I wouldn't go back this year.

I hate to say this, but CRT has been the worst meal we've ever had at WDW. Well, except for the one time at the Commissary. But back to CRT, I know you are not there for the food but it was really tasteless. Maybe we were there when the chef was having a bad day.

I haven't had a meal that was really inedible, just a few that disappointed a bit. The Teppanyaki steakhouse in Japan was probably the worst. The food was bland and made everyone ill later on that evening. Le Cellier was disappointing to me because it was so highly rated by these boards. I found it overpriced and very average.

I did not like ABC, Garden Grill or Tony's.
We are trying Tonys again this time around. It was our first day after getting up at 4am and had a very fussy 3 1/2 year old and 8 week old baby with us!

It makes me sad when I see a whole bunch of new places I am trying this time around on this list. Especially Chef Mickeys- It's our first night dinner and I was hoping it would be a great start to our trip!

Coral Reef -- lovely atmosphere, terrible food (except for the bisque)

Boma --- food was all oddly flavored

I agree ABC commissary is BAD! We also thought Yakitori House was really dirty and the food bad. Mama Melrose was okay, not hateful. We were disappointed in LeCellier the last several times, didn't care for Tony's at all. Sci Fi was fun but the food was terrible, cooked wrong, etc. stick to burgers! I would like to go back there for the kid's glow in the dark drink cup (wonder if they still have them).
Planet Hollywood was really bad! No one liked Boma at all, weird seasonings.

Never going back to the Biergarten. The atmosphere was okay, but we were seated high and well away from the entertainment.

The food was really bad. We're fairly adventurous eaters, but the food was really terrible in my book. Sausages inedible, rouladen inedible. Yucky.... We paid almost $30.00 apiece for a meal that we barely picked at.

Maybe it's the recession talking, but I've become a lot more conscious of trying to get value out of our meals and our sit-down meals have been very disappointing overall. They've all been priced at least TWICE as much as you'd consider paying anywhere else in the universe, and for that price the food oughta be outstanding....or at least "good."

I don't expect much from restaurants that have to feed the masses, therefore since my expectation is low, I'm seldom really disapointed. I can't say I've ever had a really awful meal at WDW, mostly uninspired! With that said, you would have to carry me in kicking and screamin and force me against my will to eat at the ABC Commissary again. Plain Yuk!

We don't care for the Garden Grill. We're just not fans of the "Family Style - All On One Plate" meals.

I agree with every single thing you said. :thumbsup2
