Restaurants with reservations

Is there a list somewhere which restaurants we will need reservations for?? I know when the dining plan first came out everyone was having a problem getting reservations, is that still true?? Is there a specific amt of time I should call for a reservation? Thanks for your help!

Basically figure you will need ADRs for all of the sit down restaraunts and dinner shows, and character meals. the most popular ones should be booked at the 180 day mark, some others can be closer to your travel dates but don't let it go too long.
Many Table service places don't take walk ups at all much of the year now.

I would make reservations. MK had signs when we were there stating no TS available in the park. Most of the reservations we made 3 1/2 months ahead were at odd times and we couldn't get all the restaurants we wanted. We were there the week of 9/22.

There are only a few that I know of that do not take ressies through Disney Dining. Actually the only 2 I can think of at the moment are ESPN and Big River Grille. You can call them directly to make a reservation though.

You need to try and make your ressies at the 180 day window. If you are not already past that point. If you are I would try to nail down what you want to do and make them now.
