Hello everyone!!! My honeymoon is quickly approaching in January 2012. We booked the Honeymoon suite @ The Wilderness, and I requested a room with a castle view so we can see the fireworks from our room!

I'm wondering if anyone can give suggestions about where to eat dinner at night (inside or outside the theme parks). Or any other suggestions about things we need to do on our honeymoon! I remember someone posted a suggestion about eating some where in Epcot on a private balcony so they could see the fireworks during dinner!

Thanks!!!!

Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge is a great, romantic restaurant. Also, California Grill at the Contemporary is fine dining and you can watch Wishes from there. Both have high quality food, and nice ambience.

Congrats!!

I highly suggest Ohana at the Polynesian if you can get in, it might be booked by now but if youre in a suite you may be able to have concierge help you get in too? :) It's not super romantic, it's more of a fun atmosphere, but it's our favorite restaurant on property and where we are having our rehearsal dinner! It's all you can eat and the food is food-coma amazing! (Can also see fireworks from here)

We also really like Narcoosee's at the Grand, it's out close to the water with a great view for fireworks and the electrical parade!

If you like Italian, we like Tutto Italia (more formal) or the newest restaurant in Italy, Via Napoli (less formal). Both are super authentic and yummo! (Both in Epcot in Italy)

The Whispering Canyon inside the Wilderness Lodge is super fun and I'd suggest trying it at least once while you're there! It's very interactive, you can watch what I mean if you want to (from the lobby- it's off the side of the lobby) and decide if you're up for actually eating there! DF doesn't like the involvement but I think it's a hoot!

The Hoop-De-Doo at Fort Wilderness is also a must-do for a lot of people, it's at Fort Wilderness and we've done a lot of celeb-spotting there (met Michael Jackson there when I was about 5 yrs old!). It's also very interactive and fun and you do have to pre-pay for your meal there (about $45/person I think?)

If you like hibachi, there is Teppan Edo in Japan (Epcot) which is good!

We also like the Sci-Fi Drive In in Hollywood Studios- all the tables are old cars converted and you watch an old black and white movie during meals- milkshakes here are to die for!

Have so much fun! Just about any restaurant in Disney is a win! :goodvibes

I have to second the vote for Tutto Italia. The food was delicious, and the cannoli was truly the cannoli of my dreams ;)

I agree with artist point and narcoossee's if you time it right with narcoossee's you can see the water pageant parade which is pretty cool although from there it does go backwards but that's ok.

I also like mama melrose's and the sci fi dine inn at disney's hollywood studios.

inside epcot I don't know too much we are eating at several places there in december though. I do like the coral reef it has a great ambiance

I love ohana's especially for breakfast

Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace are the two chracter meals I would suggest as those are my personal favorites.

well i hope this helps!

I'm so glad you asked this question!

I'm honeymooning at WDW in Feb or March, not long after you.

We want to eat out one time at an extra fancy 4 or 5 star restaurant. The rest of the time will be normal but we want to go all out one time.

Does anyone know of any 4 or 5 star restaurants in WDW or close by?

The restaurants people mentioned here sound very good--but i don't think they're 4 or 5 star. We hardly ever eat out an fancy restaurants and we want a special meal to remember the rest of our lives. And we want to dress up too.

Victoria & Albert's is the only restaurant on property that has any kind of official rating: 5 AAA diamonds, but no Michelin stars. But it certainly fits the bill if you want to dress up and have a once-in-a-lifetime meal.

If you want something super nice and special, you could try to get in at the Chef's Table at Victoria & Albert's also -

Hey, thanks for the recc. We will definitely check out Victoria and Alberts!!!

Doesn't matter that it doesn't have a Michelin star, but it sounds very classy and it sounds like just what we were looking for.

Thanks!!
