Restaurants in IoA/US?...

Hi, Anyone recommend any restaurants for family of 4 (2 adults and two late teen daughters)... something similar to Rainforest Cafe...

recomend hard rock we usaly get a pig sandwitch beter than a burger there and great atmosphere

One of my favourite restaurants in any theme park is Mythos in IOA.
A perfect place to rest up on a hot day.

Islands-Mythos

CityWalk- Margaritiville (Great Fajitas)
- Hard Rock Cafe (Jumbo Combo to start with NY strip)

We would vote for Mythos in IoA and the Hard Rock Cafe.

Desserts in Mythos are to die for.

We never seem to tire of Hard Rock Cafe (including our two late teen daughters). We've also eaten at Nascar Cafe, NBA City and Margaritaville at CityWalk and they're just OK, IMHO. The girls have eaten at Motown Cafe and they enjoyed that. Oh, and Emeril's, which is fantastic, but not remotely like RFC!

We also like Mythos, but we had a bad experience at dinner so now stick to lunch. There are also some great restaurants at the Universal Resorts, and it's a good excuse to take a nose around.

Thanks for all your responses, further question... is it necessary, advisable (possible!) to reserve tables at these restaurants?

Emeril's - necessary (and you have to phone the day before to confirm).
The other CityWalk restaurants - not necessary (and probably not possible).
Mythos - possible, but not necessary unless you're visiting at a very busy time. We usually book as soon as we enter IoA on the day we want to eat to avoid a wait.

IoA - Mythos - the food is wonderful and it isnt expensive. I was recommended this restaurant by a few board members and it is soo gooood....
We booked at about midday on a busy August afternoon - should really have done it when we entered the park.
Lombards Landing in US is very good too. They do beer battered fish and chips which were lovely and their milk shakes are to die for. I have tried other eating places but IMHO they are the best.

Mythos is a very nice restaurant but... its not very similar to Rainforest Cafe, other than it has fake rocks inside
