Hello!
I've got my solo trip -literally- right around the corner (SATURDAY! :cool1:) and I'm starting to second guess a lot of the ADRs I've made. I have Tony's which looks like it might be pretty cool for one person, and Brown Derby because of the *crossing fingers* booths, but I have CRT and I'm starting to wonder if it'll look a little weird - a twenty-something girl at a character lunch/dinner alone. And now it's spreading to my making ADRs anywhere else! I know it's mainly in my head but have any of you all had experience eating at the parks, specifically TS, alone? Even at CRT? Any reviews/better places to do it at?

Thanks!! :cheer2:

I'm often alone at the world and really it's no problem. The servers make you feel so comfortable. Even went to Crystal Palace, the characters were great and I never felt out of place. Bring a magazine or book if that will make you feel better.

I"ve eaten TS solo at lots of different places at the World (about 15 solo trips). I've found that the "easiest" TS for a solo is the SciFi Dine Inn. Just sitting there in the dark with everyone facing the same way watching the screen feels just like eating in front of the TV set. I also enjoy Chefs de France, if you get a window by the table, for the people-watching, and Coral Reef by the tank where you can watch the fish. And I find that they're very nice about giving you such a table if you point out that you're solo and ask politely at check-in.

Also check out the threads on the "Solo" forum; I bet they have lots of advice about dining/traveling solo.

I have no trouble solo dining in WDW. But I haven't tried any character meals as a a solo diner. I guess I didn't want to because then there isn't anyone to take photos of you and the characters!

What's fun is to just hand your camera to the character and tell him "I wish someone would take a picture of us." The character will bring the camera either to a server or another guest. There are some really funny interactions when Goofy arrives and hands someone a camera!
