Has anyone bought and used coupons bought on line from restaurants.com. I worry about buying anything on line, but there are some good coupons and I would like to try it but I want to know if I can trust this site.:confused3

It's a legit site. We have bought and used certificates from them before. :thumbsup2

BUT - make sure you read the fine print. I bought a certificate for a local sushi place in Pittsburgh and it doesn't accept the certificate on Saturdays ... and they're closed Sundays.

For someone who works in a bank ... that kinda sucks

I've bought a bunch. They can be a great deal! We use them quite often!

That site fuels my restaurant habit. There are so many places in the charleston and myrtle beach area that we can go forever without hiring the same place twice. Even better go to retailmenot.com for coupons for up to 80% off restaurant.com

I have never used this site. However, I have been to several local restaurants lately that have signs on the door stating that they no longer accept restaurant.com certificates. Proceed with caution.

The fine print is everything.... most restaurants only honor one certificate at time, with restrictions.

As long as you know the scoop - it works fine.

What bugs me about them, is that most of their coupons require that you order at least two entrees. I frequently travel solo, so can't use them.:rotfl:

My fiance and I use to use them all the time for our favorite restaurant, but they changed owners and names and are longer accepting them. We have won one in a basket at a beef and beer and loved the brunch. We've been talking about going back. They are definetily a great way to save money and gives you the option to try things you normally wouldn't try.

We use them almost every week. If there is a problem with the certificate (new management, they no longer accept etc) Restaurant.com will credit you the certificate so you can get a new one.
We love restaurant.com

Never done it myself, but I've heard good things from those who have used them.

Personally, I simply have little to no interest in the participating restaurants. If they featured a place that I want to go to, I'd be all over it.
