Hi all!

I am looking for TS restaurants that are as close as possible to the Coronado. Recommendations? TIA!

Maya Grill is the TS restaurant at Coronado Springs. Otherwise, you'd have to go to another resort or a park for a TS restaurant. Coronado is in between DHS/Epcot so either of those parks or any of the Epcot area resorts aren't too far, and on the other side is AK and AKL. You'd have to drive or take Disney transportation to any TS restaurant other than Maya Grill, however.

CSR has one sit down restaurant. It also has a Counter Service Restaurant called Pepper Market that has a real sit down feel to it. We really like it. Anything else would need to be at a park or another resort that you would need to drive to or bus too. It is very close to AK or AKL as well as HS if you have park tickets. Bus service is very good there and a trip to any restaurant is very doable.

If you don't have a car it really doesn't matter since what you need is the easiest to get to.

If you go to any other resort you will have to transfer at a park which is another bus trip. Unless you go to a Boardwalk Resort where you can go to DHs and walk from there.

Maya Grill is great! We had breakfast there almost everyday on our last trip.

I second this idea...lots of restaurants to choose from in the boardwalk area. You could take the boat from DHS to any of the Boardwalk resorts.

Thanks everyone! I forgot about Maya Grill, so that might work. We're looking for a place that we can eat at around 5:00 and be back to CSR at 6:30. Do you think any of the places at the nearby parks would work for that? Or is that not enough time with bus transportation?

If you wish to eat at 5:00 and be back at to the CSR at 6:30 can happen, with bus transport, please expect dining at a TS takes at least 2 hours, from being seated, ordering, presentation, and check-out. Even if you dine at 5pm at the Maya, there is no way you will be done by 6:30pm

Sorry, I posted "can happen"...should be CAN'T :confused3

If you eat at Maya Grill, you will most likely be done by 6:30 IMO. If you show up 15 mins early to check into your ADR like Disney recommends, there's a chance you could be seated early. To my knowledge, Maya Grill is not a place that consistently seats people late. In fact, it's not one of the more popular places so I don't know that big crowds would even be a factor. So assuming you're seated around 5pm, I think you will be done by 6:30. We did DxDP in September so all of our meals had apps, entree and dessert, and rarely they took us longer than an hour at a non-signature.

I wouldn't risk it by eating somewhere other than Maya Grill, though. Transportation will take too long, even if you drive.

Do you have a car? If you don't, closeness to the resort won't be at all relevant unless you take a taxi, as you cannot take Disney transportation directly between resorts.

If you have a car, the Animal Kingdom Lodge/Villas is nearby and has three TS restaurants.

Without a car or taxi, there is no way you will be able to take Disney transportation anywhere and be back to CSR within an hour and a half.
