Well - I've made our reservations

Friday 30th - Walt's @ 12.30pm
Cafe Mickey @ 8.30pm
(We'd like to try the Pizza Gallery is this still available and anyone ever done it ?)

Saturday 31st - Blue Lagoon @ 1.00pm
Inventions @ 8.15pm

I've requested GMF's for both of these days and I've had a reply to say the
requests been noted - Fingers crossed we get those.
On Friday the park closes @ 6.00pm so I thought we could go back to the SL for a swimand work up an appetite for dinner.
On Saturday there is a press event in the park and the park closes @ 8.00pm:sad2: I thought Inventions would be a nice end to the day and the short trip. :hourglass

Great choices - though I've only ever been to Cafe Mickey - we'll really need to try Walt's, Blue Lagoon and Inventions on our next trip!! You can't beat a nice meal while on holiday :)

Oh wow Jill that sounds like a great trip in the making. I get really excited once I have made my reservations :cool1:

great choices, Hope you like Walt's, its my favourite(so far;) )

I'm looking forward to Walt's and Inventions of course (first time for both) - it was really difficult deciding.
(4 table service restaurants in 2 days seems a bit excessive, but if the boys eat from the kids or teenagers menus there's not a great deal of difference in price between these and the counter service, and we really couldn't decide)
Liam would've liked to have squeezed the Lucky Nugget in there somewhere too - I've promised him Inventions will be just as good and we'll go back to LN next time.:)

Just out of interest how did you book these? Is it best to book before you go or when you are there?

What's GMF??

I'm trying to decide between Walt's and Blue Lagoon, but I may be like you and do both.

Have a look at the restaurant faq and under reservations is the phone numbers to book in advance.

Good Morning Fantasyland. Instead of having your breakfast at your Disney hotel you can ask if you can have GMF instead. You get in to the park 1 hour before normal opening and breakfast in Au Chalet de la Marionnette :)

Oh you lucky thing 4 fantastic restaurants :cheer2:

I haven't been to Blue Lagoon but I will next time I go back.
Walts is just superb. As a chef myself I feel it is the best quality restaurant in the Park.
Please savour your Cinderellas Slipper it is so yummy ;)

Looking at your signature got2travel, I'd say Blue Lagoon is a must and if you think of it request a table "on the beach", we were lucky enough to get one last time and had a superb time wavingto the riders on POTC. I haven't been to Walt's before but it gets rave reviews and I have to have that slipper this time.

As Reid has explained GMF is breakfast in a Fantasyland restaurant usually the Pinocchio themed restaurant, but last visit we had one at Bella Notte, which is the Lady and the Tramp themed restaurant, which was nice as we'd not been in there before. It means you get to ride some of the Fantasyland rides before the hoards arrive and it's available to Disney hotel guests.

The DLRP reservation number is 0033 160 30 40 50 and I've never had a problem speaking English, some are more fluent than others but all speak better English than my appaling French. I usually do reserve beforehand, it gives me something to plan around and I like to now what we're doing and when, but it's probably not essential - I'm a little concerned that with this trip falling on a weekend and the press event that the parks/restaurants are going to be very busy.:confused3

The best meal I've had in the parks so far was here, I can't recommend it enough, it's worth the money it for the setting alone, but now with the possibility of meeting Capt. Jack Sparrow in there as well, well who could resist. My 4year old niece brought me a present yesterday for babysitting her last week - a POTC Tshirt from the Disney Store, hoping to woo him with that :rotfl2:

Please savour your Cinderellas Slipper it is so yummy ;)
I most definatley will, looking forward to this almost as much as the holiday.

Sounds fabulous, Jill. :goodvibes

I will keep my fingers crossed you will meet Captain Jack, especially whilst wearing your new Tshirt. pirate:

Thanks. I did know about it, but just never saw it mentioned with just the initials.

Thanks for noticing. I've done Blue Bayou in Disneyland in CA many times. So I just wasn't sure if I should take the time while in DLP. Oh and now that I see there is a possiblity of Captain Jack being there, I guess it's a sure thing for us now. But for some reason I wasn't even thinking about lunch. I was just trying to figure out table services for dinner. But with the though of both lunch and dinner I can experience even more. I may be too full to enjoy the park, but I will have experienced many of the restaurants. :rotfl:
