Is there any nice restaurants at City Walk? Do they have a Hard Rock Cafe?
Any recommendations on where to eat here, that's suitable for a child however also appealing to an adult?

We've eaten at Hard Rock Cafe and NBA City at City Walk :thumbsup2

I'd say that either of them are child friendly, if noisy...... ;)
We've also eaten at the pasta restaurant, before you cross the bridge, but that wasn't as much fun.

If you go to the Hard Rock Cafe try to do the backstage tour.
Our waitress suggested it to us, and we had to wait a while, but DD thought it was great fun :goodvibes

There is an ENORMOUS Hard Rock Cafe :D Great atmosphere and the food's pretty good too.

ALso enjoyed eating at NBA City in the past, and this year we went to the Nascar Cafe.

Tbh, there is a really good selection of restaurants catering for all different tastes, so I'm sure you'll find something that will suit :)

Hi Wideyes,
My kids were brought up eating at Hard Rock Cafe (DD is massive music fan!)
and they are great with kids.
Be sure to check out the Beatles magical myster tour bus!!

Alison - can you book a back stage tour before you go???

Emeril's at City Walk is one of my favourite restaurants in Orlando. We absolutely love the food here. It's all so very fresh and nicely prepared. The desserts are delicious too - and there is a huge choice.

I had a business card somewhere with our tour guides' e-mail but not sure where it is now!

Guess you could try e-mailing Hard Rock Cafe and asking.
The tour takes about an hour or so :sunny:
It sounded as it might be best to do it during the day (between 1pm and 6pm)as, in the evenings, a couple of the rooms are booked for private parties (the Beatles Room for one)

We can highly recommend the Terriaki chicken at the nascar cafe for the adults (mouth watering now!!). i think most places cater for children because of where it is.

Thanks for that Alison - will check it out!!

Yes I have been to the Hard rock there many times Its very nice on the opposite sdie of the waterway to most of the other places in citywalk.

I also think Emerils is a great restaurant - one of the best in Orlando, but not really suited to child imho. Also in a completely different category (and league) to Hard Rock.

Nobody has mentioned the 'smoked turkey leg stalls' yet

We like Margarittaville and Pastamore - we're looking forward to trying Hard Rock Cafe and the new Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant (where the Motown restaurant used to be) based on the Forrest Gump movie.

We have eaten at Hard Rock Cafe, Pastamore and Margaritaville. All very nice :thumbsup2

personally I wouldent bother with the Hard Rock, its expensive for average food, and the 3 times ive been there Ive felt rushed as they want the table for the next guests.

The NBA place was a lot nicer.

We ate at Hard Rock on our last trip and although the setting was lovely and the food was fine, we probably won't eat there for a few trips. Too many restaurants too little time.

We eat at Mythos in IOA every trip. The atmosphere in the restaurant is superb and the food is pretty good as well. I know this is not a City Walk restaurant but if you get the chance I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
