restaurants around disney?

We are going to WDW first week of Aug and are trying to stay on a food budget of about $100 a day not including snacks we are a 2 adults a 7 and a 3 yr olds
Where can we eat around/close to disney we are thinking maybe 50 or so dinner 30 lunch and 20 breakfast or how ever it could be budgeted.

If you are wanting to eat outside of Disney property, there is a shopping center right across the street from Disney Springs that has a Pizzeria Uno, Chevy's Tex-Mex, and TGI Fridays. I think those could fit your dinner budget. Earl of Sandwich in Disney Springs could fit your lunch budget, if you don't get sodas. They also have a breakfast menu, but I'm not sure of that pricing. Hope this helps!

Name a chain and it's close. In the strip mall pp was talking about there is a Sweet Tomatoes, Fudruckers go left and there is a steak and shake. Go right and there is Cicis Pizza, Golden Corral just to name a few. These are the cheaper places to eat. There are lots of other places that cost a little more than the ones I mentioned.

Unless you are already leaving the parks I wouldn't waste the time it will take to save a few bucks. Maybe just try pick up some groceries for breakfast in the room so you can save some money.

Well the problem isnt as much price well it is a bit but more like getting what we need my husband eats rice with almost every meal at least once a day ( he from ecuador its how they stayed full as kids) if he doesnt eat rice he doeant feel satisfied strange I know but it is what it is and I dont know if disney can fill this need he can go a day without but no more really

I would look into menus Epcot will probably will be your best bet or TS, but you won't be able to stick to the budget you posted early. Leaving the parks just to eat will definitely cost you at last an hour. By the way I have family in Ecuador and that is not a cultural thing it sounds more of a family thing. In another post you said the is is not your first Disney trip what did your husband eat then? Does he has to have rice at home every day?

I would look into menus Epcot will probably will be your best bet or TS, but you won't be able to stick to the budget you posted early. It depend on what part of ecuador, where he is from it is what they eat twice a day he isnt from the coast he is from the andes
Cant really do epcot every day tho we arent doing park hoppers and are only going once to that park what restaurant do you recommend while we are there?

And yes he eats rice almost every day maybe he can skip it once maybe twice a week he doesnt eat it at both meals when he is home but when at work he has rice for lunch every single day and most nights for dinner but that about it he will eat ANYTHING as long as it has rice with it lol. Last time we did lots of chinese, tex mex, and golden corral didnt know much else that why im taking the time to investigate this time also my daughter hates rices

I dont mind going over a bit, my son usually eats off everybodys plate he is 3 not a huge eater more like let me try everything and thats it

Also we dont do extravagant dinners my son isnt really a "lets sit down quietly and wait for our food" type so it would be a waste of my money even try that

They have rice at animal kingdom yak and yeti quick service. It is fried rice. I think rice comes with the platters at pecos bills at Magic kingdom. Then Epcot will have rice at several spots. Check the menus. What about bring microwaveable rice pouches.

Breakfast, there is a McDonald's on Disney property, Earl of Sandwich has breakfast (until 11am) or lunch sandwiches.
Other fast food options along Hwy 192. Other restaurants near Disney Springs area, Chevy's, Fuddrucker's, Ale House, etc.
There is a Chili's close by too. If you want a nice lunch one day stop at The Columbia in Celebration, you can get a cuban sandwich and cup of soup for $12.50, a side of rice might cost a little extra.

The quick service place in China (Epcot World Showcase), Lotus Blossom Cafe, has rice.
I'm thinking that there is also a rice dish at Sunshine Seasons food court too.

As mention above CS China in Epcot will have rice, yak and yeti in Ak at the MK pecos bill but it comes in a burrito. Otherwise the SKipper canteen has a dish with white rice, but that is TS and you will be paying closer to $23 per plate so that will eat most of the budget one day. Nothing comes to mind for HS, but you might want to hop over the restaurant board. I surely thought you were going to say he is from the coast region because they eat more rice than the Andes region. A lot more potatoes and corn are use in the Andes region. And while I think Ecuadorians might eat rice more frequently than in the U.S never in my life have I meet anyone that eats it every day so that is a family thing not an Ecuadorian. You see my mom is a banking consultant so she moved around the world for different projects. My dad is Ecuadorian and so we lived there for quite a few years (13) before we had to keep moving for a different projects.

No im sure its region im sure if you look it up you will see its a staple in andean region as is potatoe and mote also they eat alot of cuys aka guinea pigs which im not a fan of have you ever tried it i have but im not crazy about it in the least

What part of ecuador is your dad from did you like it there? Every single ecuatorian ive met always has rice with just about every meal so maybe its a thing from the cirty he is from but all the ecuadorian restaurant also have rice with every dish on the menu here unless you are ordering sopas cause even with caldos they give you a side of rice so maybe its a thing from his city maybe who knows but all the cuencanos, quiteños and ambateños that I know have rice with just about every dish except cafè of course and at least 1 time if not twice a day

Could you bring or order some of these? Even if you are on property in a room without a microwave, there will be microwaves in the food court

I wouldn't budget for breakfast...I would just have milk, cereal, etc. That will leave you more for the other meals.
