restaurants around disney?

What part of ecuador is your dad from did you like it there? Every single ecuatorian ive met always has rice with just about every meal so maybe its a thing from the cirty he is from but all the ecuadorian restaurant also have rice with every dish on the menu here unless you are ordering sopas cause even with caldos they give you a side of rice so maybe its a thing from his city maybe who knows but all the cuencanos, quiteños and ambateños that I know have rice with just about every dish except cafè of course and at least 1 time if not twice a day

My dad is from Quito an I have family in Quito, Cuenca and some in the coast. I did like it there are there are positives and negatives just like with everything. Education was way better in my private school in Ecuador than the private school here in the US but I think that is just US curriculum. We also had way more subjects to study which made it very demanding. I love that it was bilingual and I am very impressed by my cousins they all left high school fluent in 3 languages. Cost of living is cheaper some ways more expensive in others. I am very close to my Ecuadorian family and they come to visit often which is nice. I would never drive there!

I love the food there just in general my DH does too. I can think of some dishes that have rice, but not all. As I said we lived there for 13 years and I never meet anyone that ate rice every single day let alone every meal. I thinking of the most traditional dishes and most of them have some sort of potatoes or/and corn. Do most of the Ecuadorian people you know your husbands family? Maybe they really like rice. Although my aunts ex husband only ate rice and eggs, but that is because he was a very picky eater. Everyone in my family hated him he was so annoying. We will have a huge Christmas dinner and they will have to make a plate of rice and eggs because he wouldn't eat anything else!

Do you know if there are any ecuadorian restaurants in the orlando area? Couldnt find any last time but thought maybe you would know ellie?

I don't think there is. There was one a long time ago but it closed. When we go vacation in Miami we go straight to the Ecuadorian restaurant. We are doing a big 3 week South American vacation at the end of May, boy am I going to gain some weight!
