Restaurants after close

This is really strange. I made all my reservations and now that the park times are posted I looked at Prime Time and my reservation is for 20 minutes after the park closes. Usually these restaurants stop seating before the park is even closed. Now we are being seated after the park closes. We called WDW dine 3 times now and everyone always says I know why...Oh. No there is not extra magic hours, No it is not Night of Joy. No there is not fantasmic. None of the cast members have ever heard of it either but they keep telling me everything is fine as long as I have my confirmation number.

Has anyone ever been seated after the park closes?? I just have never heard of such a thing. I am also concerned about the buses but they tell me they run up to 2 hours after the park closes and I should be fine.

Hmm. This has never happened to me before, but Disney has been crazy with how they release and change their park hours lately. If you are concerned, change the ADR time. I have a hunch that if they are truly closing then that you will be contacted and asked to change your time to an earlier one. I could be wrong though.

I once somehow obtained a reservation for a restaurant in DCA at a time HOURS after the park closed. No one batted an eye until I asked a CM how that could possibly be honored. Perhaps WDW is more on the ball, but, don't bet on it.

I would re-book now for an earlier time (before park closes) or book somewhere else if no times before park closes are available. I know I have read posts from people who were just out of luck when they got called days before their vacation to be told they needed to change their erroneous reservation...with nothing else in that park available at that point.
