Where is a good place to have dinner among the Epcot resorts ( Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Dolphin, Swan)? We will more than likely be arriving by boat from DHS after seeing the Osborne Lights. After dinner, we may walk around the Boardwalk a little or just find a nice place to watch the fireworks outside the park. Any suggestions?

I would like to keep it at 1 TS credit if possible, but am not totally opposed to doing a 2 TS credit.

Just remember Dolphin not part of Disney dining, but the food is a notch above.

I had forgotten about the Swan and Dolphin not being on the Disney Dining Plan. I think we probably want to stick with the restaurants that participate in the dining plan this trip. I would like to eat at the Dolphin (Blue Zoo) someday, though. I've heard many good things about it.

Ate at Kouzzina and thought it was great, but unless you have adventurous tastebuds you might want to shy away. Food is a bit different, but very good. People like the Cape May Cafe seafood buffet but I thought it was just OK, being from a shore area I'm used to much better seafood. The Fountain at the Dolphin is good, but again its not on DDP.

We tried Flying Fish for the first time last year, and will be back again this year. It was the last dinner of the week for us, and it was a good way to end things.

If you want to stick with a 1 TS credit place, I would suggest the clambake at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. Delicious buffet with a variety of choices and a whimsical atmosphere. :goodvibes

Also, Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club is a hidden gem. The food and service are great, and I've never heard a bad review of this place.

Kouzzina is excellent, but as a PP mentioned, you've got to have adventurous taste buds.

Both are excellent; two is a la carte and the other is a buffet. Your choice! :thumbsup2

We're planning to go from DHS to Cape May for dinner on Xmas eve. It will be our first visit. It looks like there will be something for everyone, and we can try some new dishes too.

Not many people suggest this, but I am a big fan of Big River Grill and Brewery. Good menu and food is always good when we go!

For 1 TS I really like Kouzzina for a traditional sit-down dinner or Cape May Cafe for the seafood buffet.

One of my favorite places to eat, if not my favorite, is Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club right by the pool. The burgers are amazing and you HAVE to get a Frozen Sunshine on a hot day. If you have a big group (or just really like ice cream) the Kitchen Sink is the way to go! I try to go at least once on every trip! Never had a bad meal here! I would suggest going at an odd time however, considering the wait can be really long for a table during normal lunch and dinner hours!

Thanks everyone for all the great responses!

I am going to follow-up on the suggestions of Captain's Grille and Big River Grille to see what kind of reviews I find. I already have an ADR for Cape May, but just wanted to see what others would suggest since we've never eaten there before. I may end up keeping it based on what I have read here. :goodvibes

Has anyone ever hung out on the Boardwalk after dinner and been able to see much of Illuminations? Its not a must do or anything, but I'm just curious if you even get to see very much of it as I know alot of it takes place on the water.

Do yourself a favor and keep it!

There is always a small crowd that gathers near the bridge by the wedding pavillion to catch a glimpse of what they can. Other than hearing the music and seeing the few high-flying (relatively speaking) fireworks, you can't see much. Even from the highest floor of the Dolphin with and Epcot facing balcony, the view of Illuminations is marginal. I certainly wouldn't plan an evening around it.

Keep your Cape May Reservation!

I liked Big River Grill. We are trying the Captain's Grill on our next trip.

We really enjoy riding the surrey bikes around the boardwalk, and the putt putt golf that is kinda behind the Swan/Dolphin. There are also movies on the beach at Crescent Lake.

We also enjoyed renting a boat, but that is a daylight activity.
