Restaurant Suggestions for an 18th Birthday

I'm a WDW veteran and my daughter and I are visiting DL for the first time this August. My daughter will celebrate her 18th birthday while we're there and I would appreciate any suggestions for dining experiences that will make her birthday memorable.

I would suggest Blue Bayou. Its a tradition for many folks when celebrating a special event.

I would have to disagree with teacups (even though their posts are oh so funny and keep me entertained ) most people will say that the Blue Bayou is great for the atmosphere but not so amazing with food. I would suggest Cafe Orleans. It has great food and the atmosphere isn't too bad. Ask for an outside table and you can people watch or feel secluded. It has a great romantic feel about it

I'd suggest Blue Bayou too as it's an experience that is different than can be had at WDW. It's glaringly missing there.

If DD is really into food you could dine at Napa Rose, and or choose the chef's table option. It's super high quality on par with V&A.

Perhaps a character meal. While only Goofy's Kitchen has dinner, it's a bit like Chef Mickey's, I have something else in mind. Breakfast with Minnie and Friends. It has great character variety and interaction, there is nothing like it in WDW.

While not a meal. The Fantasmi Desert Package may work. You get researved seating for F! and a dessert box plus drinks.

I would choose Napa Rose though I have not been to NR (planning to go this August for the Chef tasting menu with DD15 who is a growing epicure). I think it would be more memorable for 18th BD.

I disagree that most people would say the food at BB isn't that good. I would definitely suggest BB for a birthday meal, I very much enjoy the Tesoro Island Chicken and the Gumbo and potatoes are delish!! Napa Rose is said to be very nice but I have not eaten there, there is also Steakhouse 55, again, I have not eaten there but have heard very good things about it.

Napa Rose, Steakhouse 55 and Blue Bayou would all be worthy of an 18th, in my opinion.
