I don't remember the last time I went to a movie theater~

It's been so long I don't remember

The Disney Christmas Carol - I wanted to go downtown to see the train but it happen to be on a day I had to work and missed it.

I wanted to see the train too....but it was in downtown Seattle (and south at that...and we're north) on July 4th weekend, so didn't happen.

I can't remember the last movie I saw.

I have made it known that we will be seeing A Christmas Carol to kick off our holiday season.

I never used to see movies in the theater, but since the kids are now older, I've become the person that takes them to the movies. I think I've seen more movies in the past 2 years (in theaters) that I had in the past 5 combined! Most have been good, but there have been a few clunkers. I'm sure my sisters appreciate it, LOL!

We used to go to the movie every week, but with 2 mortgages, it has been cut back to twice a month, sometimes less.

I have pumpkins out. We will carve them tomorrow night. I had fall mums out too but, my mom came to visit and when she left the mums disappeared. Never got around to replacing them.

I sure do!!! I have orange and purple lights on my trees,small pumpkin heads lighting up my path to the door,lite up ghosts encircling the big tree in my front yard,Pumpkins and pumpkin candles lite up in my windows, scarecrows and flags and lite signs that say Trick or Treat and Witches Flying Academy,and a large blow up of 3 ghosts coming out of a pumpkin cauldron. There is more but I'd be here all day listing it!! All of this is in the front of the house and inside.....Not enough time to list it all!! Yes I can honestly say we LOVE Halloween here!! We have been doing this ever since the kids were little. What's great is now they can help putting it all up and the best part TAKING IT ALL DOWN!!!!
Bet you can imagine what we do for Christmas!!

We hardly decorated at all once we moved to the sticks....no one could see the house.
But now the new house is in a developement I hope to get back to it.

We just have a door mat and some luminaries this year. We are carving pumpkins today.
That's it....of course, I leave for WA on Sunday, so only have a little time to take things down and put them away.

I don't have them up yet, but will have 6 medium and 4 tiny pumpkins out for Holloween on Saturday. May not have that many trick or treaters, as they are predicting rain for Saturday. Have a great day everyone!

No decorations here. We both love the holidays, but we simply don't decorate anymore. Most of the time, it's just the 2 of us, and decorating is a job. I don't want my dad to climb ladders (he's 84), and I'm a big chicken. Besides, for the big holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas), we go to a sister's house (this year, Thanksgiving in NY, christmas in VA), and they go all-out.

Halloween decorations:

A blow-up Mickey pumpkin head.

A wooden pumpkin stake that says Trick or Treat.

A spinner that has a haunted house in the center, srounded by ghost.

A string of Micky pumpkin head lights, on my deck.

An orange felt skelton on my front door, also black decorator tape that says Do Not Enter.

I don't do much decorating for Halloween any longer since my boys are all older and out of the house. I do have a plastic pumpkin on my front porch which lights up.

Makes sense Nancy that you just put up a few things and carve pumpkins so it is easy to put it away since you are heading back to WA!
My DH will be carving our pumpkins Thursday and Friday! He is sooooo good at it!! He makes the elaborate scenes on them. For the last few years we have had people ask if they could take pictures of them or have their children take pictures near the pumpkins!!! We're thrilled when the Trick Or Treaters and their parents love the pumpkins! It really makes DH very happy!!
