Spent a short weekend at Disney and have the following restaurant reviews:
All Star Movies food court: A typical food court. Food was OK. Had the breakfast platter (eggs, meat, biscuit) which was very good. I was shocked to see that the prices were $5.50 for this. I was really shocked to see the lunch/dinner prices were almost $7 for many entrees! We had taco salad, hamburgers, sandwiches and all were fine. Mugs are $10.99. As always, the food courts give you wholesome food to keep one going!
Yachtsman Steakhouse: Our 3rd visit in 3 months. The food this visit was not quite as stellar, but a not-quite stellar Yachtsman meal is a fabulous meal in most other restaurants! We had 6 for dinner and ordered caesar salads, filets, strip steaks and prime rib. We had a birthday boy and they brought a complimentary yummy desert and a card signed by Mickey, Minnie and many other characters! Best of all, our waiter Chris remembered us from a previous visit! The Yachtsman remains one of my all time favorite restaurants!
Grand Floridian Cafe: We ate here for breakfast and while the prices are high, the food was very good. We had 6 again for breakfast and ordered omelets, poached eggs, corned beef hash skillet and 2 All American breakfasts (eggs, meat, hash browns and biscuits). If you're looking for a quiet breakfast in a beautiful surrounding (lovely view of the main GF pool) this is a good place!
ESPN Club: Dinner. Ordered hot dogs, hamburger and grilled chicken sandwich. The hot dogs are the foot long variety - HUGE! Fries are good. Food is quite good. Very on par with Planet Hollywood! We were privileged to enjoy a live show with one of the Pittsburgh Steeler coaches which was a nice surprise!
