Howdy,

I can't remember and we've lent our guide book to friends who really need to get off their duffs and buy in, so with whom should we make our meal reservations, MS or CRO? As a general rule, we don't make meal ressies, so this is a new frontier for me.

The big one is getting 12 people seats for Cinderella's CB....is there anything different that we need to do for a party of 12?

I know the tactics on when to call and we have our 'make reservation' dates all mapped out on the calendar, and i know they now require a deposit on Cindy's, just not who to call.

Thanks,
Joe

For Cindy's Breakfast you need to call WDW-DINE (or CRO), not MS. MS opens to late in the morning to secure ressies for Cindy's.

In fact, I'd call WDW-DINE prior to your first call day and find out if you need to call group dining since you have a large group.

Well, by my standards 12 isn't a large group but I can see how it might be outside my own little world. I didn't realize they had 'group dining'. Anyone know what that entails...do you get a seperate room or what?

Thanks,
Joe

With larger groups it is a matter of being able to put the group at a single table or at least at adjacent tables. The majority of the tables in most restaurants are for four people.

ralphd:) :) :) :)

12 may not be a large group - I've done ressies for 10 people before via both MS and WDW-DINE, and Group Dining didn't get involved. But it's probably worth checking on before hand.

You will most likely get multiple tables at Cindy's, and they will not promise that the tables will be adjacent (though they do try very hard to keep groups together).

We just went in May and had ressies for 10. They gave us 2 tables of 6 & 4 that were adjacent to each other. We just went through CRO. Just make sure you call at 7AM!!! At least now they are taking credit cards, so maybe it won't be as hard to get ressies has it has been the past with people just making ressies for the heck of it.....

Good Luck

We planned on calling at 7:00 am...two of us to double the odds of getting through for the ressies. We'll try for the first full day we're there, even though we're not scheduled to go to the MK until the 5th day of the trip.

The alternate option for a CB was at olivia's, which would have been convenient as we're staying at OKW and great since our niece is a pooh and pig-a-let fanatic....but so much for the best laid plans of men vs. mou$e.

Thanks for the input,
Joe

When we went in Nov, we had 16 and the only restaurant that didn't take reservations for that size group from WDW-DINE was The Yachtsman Steakhouse. At some restaurants we were booked on 2 or 3 tables, but when we got there, we always were seated together. However last month when we ate at Hollywood & Vine the set-up for 11 of us was not great. 8 of us were at a long rectangular table, and three were in the middle of the floor at a round. In Nov, all 16 were at adjacent tables for 4, so you never know, but we were told every single time that they couldn't guarantee that ww would be seated together. Also, another thing that was different from past times was that I had to prepay for the Hoop Dee Doo show because of the large group, I assume.
