Restaurant Recommendations for First Timers?

Hey everyone! My family and I just booked our hotel from late July!
It's our first time and I'm really a Disney Foodie so I wanted to know if there are any recommendations or must hit spots for us
We are only there for two days Monday and Tuesday.

Just got back and we went to the Steakhouse in Disney Village, absolutely lovely food!!

For character dining, Inventions (buffet) is my fabourite.
For fine dining, try California Grill or Walts.

California Grill is the finest dining, it's in the Disneyland Hotel next door to Inventions which has a character dinner buffet (definitely the best character meal).

My favourite restaurant is Walt's on Main Street, it should be open every day in late July for both dinner and lunch.

I love Walt's and try to have a meal there each time I go now! Food and service have always been excellent, and if you can get a table overlooking Main Street that's even better!

Blue Lagoon is nice for the atmosphere as it's inside the Pirates ride, but I wasn't that impressed with the food when I went.
