We are going to be spending our last day of our Disney vacation at MK. Can anyone recommend a restaurant either in MK or in one of the Disney resorts that we could have a table service meal? Our children will be 7 and 4 at the time and the trip is really all about them. At the same time, I would like to "go out with a bang" and at least have a memorable meal, although I am sure they all will be. If everything goes according to plan, we will have already been to Crystal Palace, Askerhaus, 1900 park Fare, Boma, Chef Mickey's and 50's Prime Time Cafe. Thanks so much for any info.

If you will be there for dinner on that last day, I would suggest the Liberty Tree Tavern for the character meal. We did not eat dinner there, but understand the food is as good as it is at lunch and we loved our lunch meal.
:)

To go "out with a bang" with a 4 & 7 year old? How about Whispering Canyon Cafe? It is just a boat ride away from MK! :upsidedow We had dinner there last year and our DGS2, DGD5 and DS9 loved the food-and the antics!

If the big bang is for the kids I don't think a meal is the answer. Attractions in MK will likely bring bigger smiles and memories for them. If you grab a meal at MK I'd suggest the Plaza or Main St Bakery because they are essentially in the heart of the park so you don't miss any park time there. The meals are not just a burger and fries. Both those places serve amazing desserts which would be great Grand Finales!

The Plaza is a TS restaurant which takes ADRs.

I didn't notice Coral Reef on your list and that is one you might consider adding. You have 2 Princess Meals so unless your kids are really ga ga over the princesses they would likely enjoy an undewater lunch treat in Epcot.

For foodwise, I would head to the KOna. For a big bang for the kids, I would say perhaps Ohana would be a blast for them and a great way to end the trip

Coral Reef should suit your needs and the food is as good as the setting.. No characters but plenty to watch?

They specifically said they want a place IN MK or the immediate resorts.

So how exactly does Coral Reef meet their needs?

Hop on the monorail and eat at the Kona Cafe at Poly. This will take some extra time, though, so make sure that this meal is worth taking time away from the park!

If you could switch one of your character meals to the last day, then I would do that. You have already planned for 3 of the top character meals in the MK area. For example, we always eat at Chef Mickey's breakfast, but use it as a brunch, since Chef Mickey's seem to go until 11:30am and say Ohana's only goes until 10:30 am. If you want to stay at MK, then switch the Crystal Palace to that day and do something else in place of the Crystal Palace's original reservation.

If you're doing dinner, I'd suggest O'Hana at the Poly. Coconut races and dancing the hula. It's really fun for everyone. Plus, the food is yummy. We can't wait to do it again in Dec.
