I was just wondering about the special menus (Master Chef, Mexicalifragilistic...,Captains Gala &Small World) do you keep your rotation and on nights 4-7 the menu is the 4 special menus?
Also, what do you recommend missing if you choose to do a night at Palos?
Thanks, Dani :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Yes, you keep rotating through the restaurants on the theme nights. So if you start in Lumière's, you'll eat there Saturday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you have this rotation on the eastern, you'll have Tropical night in Lumière's, which is kind of strange, but really no big deal, IMHO.

I always say any night is a good night to eat at Palo, but if I had to pick, I'd vote for missing Animator's, especially the second night you eat there, since they only do the show once.

We've had tropical night at Lumiere's and formal night at Parrot Cay. That was weird! For our upcoming cruise, we requested PLAPLAP so that we have tropicali at Parrot Cay and Formal at Lumiere's. We'll probably do what LD suggested and try to get Palo for our second Animator's dinner.

I third the vote for skipping the second Animator's dinner or the second Luimere's. I actually really enjoyed the regular Animator's menu, but the theme night menus did nothing for me. I had PLA rotation as well, and we did Palo on the second Lumiere's night.

We did the same and skipped the second Animator's dinner for Palo. The Mexicali menu really didn't entice us all that much, so it made the decision easier.

Like DR we skipped Animators the second night, as we were there three nights on our rotation. This put us in Palo for Tuesday evening.

The Mexicalwhatever actually turned out to be a good dinner for us in Parrot Cay. The last night is "Best of" menu, which was very good but could be skipped for Palo. A lot of people who went to Palo that evening were in the dining room early with their tips.

Truly, I have to say I worried far too much about the rotation and the dinners. The food was really great everywhere, every night.

Have a blast planning!

Kathy, IKWYM about worrying about the rotation/dinner thing but when you get down to it, it really isn't a big deal. :)

This was our third Disney cruise and I have to say the food was the best this time. The first cruise the food was good, second cruise the food was not good at all. This time the food was really very good each night. I think this had a lot to do with our server, Alex. His recommendations were the best and he is by far the best server we've had on the Magic.
