Hello!

Can anyone tell me if this restaurant is any good? We would like to eat at Downtown Disney one day of our vacation. Thank you!

This restaurant is not yet open. The only opening date currently given is "late 2010" so it will not be open in time for the trip on your countdown.

It's a chain restaurant. Someone who has tried the chain elsewhere may be able to say how it is.

While DD and I spend "hours" at World of Disney, DH usually takes DS over to Mickey D's for lunch. I told him about Pollo Campero taking it's place and he is greatly disappointed.

We tried it a few years ago when they first opened in the Houston area. We ordered the fried chicken and I remember that the pieces were small and the fried skin was so greasy it was soggy, not crispy. I don't eat fried skin, but DH does and he was grossed out. Which was a surprise to me considering what he eats. It was supposed to be really great tasty chicken, but what we tried was bland and in no way compared to our local Popeyes. Perhaps the grilled chicken is better, but we won't be going back to find out. It's not worth the drive to a not-so-nice area of Houston.

We will be eating at Earl of Sandwich when we return to Downtown Disney this summer.

DH's uncle had PC cater his rehearsal dinner for his wedding last year. We went to Disney for the week and then the rehearsal dinner and wedding the last two days in Orlando. I say the food is really good. We eat this kind of food everyday and it was up there with home cooking!

Now since this is regular food for me I will be doing EOS or WPE to try something different.
