Hi everyone and heres to a Happy and Healthy New Year! Not sorry to see 2016 go!
Anyway I need some advice with a few restaurants, can you guys give me your opinions on these 3 for breakfast?
The Wave
Fresh Mediterranean Market
Captains Grille

We love these for breakfast
Boma
The Crystal Palace

We have ADR's at all of these and any opinions on others would also be appreciated.
Just me and DH for the top three.
Thanks for your help!

The Wave was an unexpected gem for us. We decided just to walk over one day (staying at BLT) to see if we could get in for breakfast. There was plenty of room! You can order off the menu or do the buffet. After checking out the buffet, we both decided to go for that. It was a nice buffet. Not as large as some of the other breakfast buffets on-site, but we both felt that the food was better (fresher).

We did the Captains Grill several years ago and it was ok. We recently tried breakfasts at the Garden Grill at Epcot and Tusker House in AK and we really liked both of them. I would recommend either one of these, if you happen to be looking for another option. :)

We love Captain's Grille. It's a great deal, and much less frenetic than other buffet restaurants. I've had countless breakfasts there and, aside from perhaps Boma, I'd say it's my favorite.

We have sworn off Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's after several recent bad experiences, but we are now a family of adults so character meals aren't a must for us. If you have a need to see characters, I'd pick Cape May over either of those. We went to Fresh years ago and I was very disappointed, but I wouldn't want to turn you off of it because of my experience of 9 or so years ago. Other places....in DS, we always enjoy Wolfgang Puck cafe for breakfast (great breakfast pizza). I've also heard raves about Tusker House and Garden Grill, though I admit I haven't done either.

Thank you Shellyred8 for replying so quickly. We are staying and renting points at the Boardwalk Villas so there aren't many sit down breakfast options for us thats why I booked the Captains Grille. I forgot that The Garden Grill does breakfast now, we enjoyed dinner there a few years back. I'll have to check that one out. Glad to hear you enjoyed The Wave, we're looking forward to trying new places.

AshClan thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with the Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys. We've never been to Chef Mickeys, I've heard too many bad things about the food. We are also a family of adults, my youngest and his fiancé haven't been to the Crystal Palace yet and wanted to try it, we don't mind 1 or 2 character meals per trip. We have been to Cape May for dinner a few times but never breakfast. We've eaten at Wolfgang Pucks cafe for a quick dinner and really liked it, I'll have to check out the breakfast menus on both. Thanks so much!

Also glad you enjoyed the Captains Grille, we are staying at The Boardwalk and figured its just a walk down the road lol

We stayed at the YC in Dec so we tried some breakfasts in the area. We loved the breakfast at Trattoria at the BW and Cape May at BC. CG is pretty good as well. We always love Crystal Palace at MK and Boma.

I can say The Wave was a hidden gem for us as well. We loved the buffet, the choices seemed more refined than most. The meal was also a better value than the other buffets. We thought the price was very good (by Disney standards) for what you had to choose from.

Thank you both for your feedback. I'm looking forward to The Wave.
