I really miss King Stefans. I loved the pewter dishes and goblets! They really enhanced the atmosphere!

I miss King Stefan's Banguet Hall the most. And also Papeete Bay Verandah (where Ohana is now). Tangaroa Terrace at the Poly was also good for breakfast.

I miss the Councourse Steakhouse at Contemporary (mostly for the sticky mickeys!)

And someone mentioned the Soundstage restaurant at the studios upthread... they used to have a cool upstairs bar (The Catwalk) that I wish were still around!

Finally... I really miss the old Akershus before it was princess and back when it was a full buffet!

I wondered if anyone else would remember the Papeete Bay! I ate there several times with my parents and grandparents. My grandfather especially loved it as I recall. I also remember eating at the Top of the World once, and King Stefan's once.

I like the current Sunshine Seasons at the Land, but I also liked it when it was done by Kraft. The cheese bread there was so delicious! It was at the Land Grill Room, too.

I loved the Fireworks Factory at PI. Last week I was racking my brain trying to remember the name- thanks for the memories. Great wings and fun crowd.

1. Fireworks Factory at Pleasure Island - fun atmosphere, and they had a very tasty spicy shrimp.

2. Boatwrights at POR Breakfast - one of the better breakfasts I've had anywhere. So sad to hear they are no longer doing breakfasts, as their dinners were not worth the money IMO.

1. The Rose & Crown when they used to serve a TRUE proper afternoon tea. The overpriced menu nonsense at GF just doesn't cut it for me. IIRC it was a single mid-afternoon seating (either R&C did not do lunch, or it was much shorter, because the restaurant was not open for anything but tea) and was not widely advertised. They brought endless baskets of scones first, with PLATES of clotted cream and butter and jams on the table. Then they brought around baskets of little sandwiches. And then they brought you pastries. And then you waddled back out into Epcot. Yum, yum!

2. Another vote for Akershus when it was a non-character Norwegian buffet, not just a cold appetizer line.

3. Sunshine Seasons before they took part of it out to make room for Soarin'. More stations/more choices.

Our family loves POFQ and it kills me everytime we stay there, and I see the space where Bonfamille's was. That place was wonderful. Food was great and it was very pretty. Boatwright's became a subsitute for us, but I loved the garlic cheese bites and they are long gone.

I also miss King Stefan's. I really hope that once the restaurant in new fantasyland opens, the castle will go back to regular sit-down. I loved Major Domo's Pie, but so not worth the price for the Princess meal.

Concourse Steakhouse used to be a every visit meal for us when the girls were little. We generally stayed at the CR back then and Concourse was perfect for us. They would always split our meals so that we could share our steaks with them. It made then feel so grown up to get big plates of their own! Have yet to try The Wave, no interest in their menu at all.....

Most of the places we ate on our honeymoon are gone or have changed. Concourse Steakhouse which has been listed. Coral Isle Cafe which became Kona was our favorite for breakfast. They had these HUGE blueberry muffins which I had every day! We also ate at Papayette Bay Verandah and the South Seas Dining Room. I remember one of them had a small band that played. And then there was the Tangoroa Terrace. It was so romantic walking along the paths lit with the tiki torches with the Polynesian music piped through the tiki's. We also ate at the Fisherman's Deck on the Empress Lily.

I'm also on the Concourse Steakhouse bandwagon. They had the very best burgers a-n-y-where in all of Disney!

I miss breakfast at Tony's in the MK most of all. We always had breakfast here on our MK days. It was so nice to have a leisurely breakfast here. It was so nice to be able to order off of a menu. Where elae can you get breakfast like that in any of the parks ? I also miss Bonfamilles at POFQ. We stay at POFQ for part of our stay on every trip and we really miss this place. The food and service were always outstanding.

King Stephan's. First time I ever tried swordfish. And the mint crepes are seared in my mind.

I miss Biergarten being TS, and Hollywood and Vine being a cafeteria.

I wasn't that impressed with the "Top of the World" at the Contemporary...but...it was the first place DH and I went on our honeymoon so I was a little bummed when it was replaced. I've not gone to California Grill because the menu seems a bit too upscale for my taste.

I also enjoyed breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse!

Another fan of the Papeete Veranda(for dinner or Minnie's Menehune breakfast). We were also fans of the Concourse steakhouse, the Steerman's Quarters on the Empress Lily,Sunday brunch at the Top of the World, and what was our family's favorite restaurant of all time: Alfredo's. Honorable mention for breakfast at Tony's and the Chef Mickey's at DTD.

LOL on the "boycotting". For years, I was boycotting California Grill because I really missed the big brunch they had up there. It seems I remember an ice sculpture. It was so beautiful and sunny. Took me about 15 years before I finally gave California Grill a chance!

This was a favorite of ours too! BBQ ribs and chicken, the place had something for everyone. I remember there being a catwalk or something above the dining room.

Coral Isle Cafe was a great place-it resided where Kona Cafe now is. CIC was enclosed had great food and a nice atmosphere. When they did the major refurb on the Polynesian-they took out the walls and opened it up to create the Kona Cafe. I like the KC and enjoy watching people wander around the GCH, but sometimes it is a bit too noisy.

Tangeroa Terrace was another restaurant at the Polynesian-it still stands,but I believe it is mainly used for convention functions and storage now. They use to serve breakfast and had an Asian buffet dinner if I remember correctly.

My brother and I spent countless hours at the Fiesta Food and Fun Center, which is on the ground floor of the Contemporary. After many changes it reopened as the Wave Restaurant. It was an arcade with an extensive snack bar.

I miss Spoodles and Alfredo's, they were both not to be missed restaurants for us.

Then who could forget the good old fashioned handwich or old school Mickey ice cream bars?

Am I having another senior moment, or confusing our visits between WDW and DLR? Didn't Adventureland have a Blue Bayou Restaurant before the POC expansion? I have a very vivid memory of having Jambalaya for lunch many years ago. I know DLR had it, but thought MK did too, at one time.
