I'm considering doing Restaurant Marrakesh for the first time during my solo trip in September - largely because I doubt my friends/family would want to give it a try during one of our visits.

What do folks think in general? What is your favorite dish?

I was wondering what folks think specifically of the Taste of Morocco, the three course meal for one person. It has a hefty price tag, but seems to give you a sample of everything. I no longer see the Berber feast that older reviews were mentioning.

Restaurant Marrakesh has been one of our go-to restaurants when we go. Both of our boys, when they were younger really enjoyed it and credit it to being a restaurant that got them both to expand their palate. Our last trip we ordered both of the Shish Kebab's and swapped one skewer each. Amazingly tender and flavorful.

I love Marrakesh! My favorite dish there is the Couscous with Vegetables. The Harira Soup is really good too. The service is always good, and there's usually live music and even a belly dancer, depending on when you get there.

My husband is Moroccan and even he loves going to this one. The food is not perfectly authentic, but it gives you a good idea of Moroccan cuisine. The atmosphere is beautiful and they usually have music and a belly dancer, so you get more bang for your buck. The taste of Morocco is great because you get a sample of everything, but it's also not necessary. (Skip dessert, nothing special there. Go next door to Les Halles in France for a better choice and it's less expensive.)

I love the lamb shank (always falling off the bone and delicious). DH likes Marrakesh too but doesn’t have a favorite dish. I would definitely encourage you to go!

Actually, skip dessert here and run over to Spice Road Table for either their Pistachios and Saffron Custard (my favorite dessert in Epcot!) or the Chocolate Pyramid. Can't go wrong with either of those!

I've never been there solo, and I wonder if they'd be less friendly to solos, especially solo women. I'm a little unknowledgeable of the culture.

I've dined solo there, as well as most other Disney restaurants, and you have nothing to worry about. This is a restaurant in Epcot, not in the actual country of Morocco, where my advice would most likely be quite different. Maybe. No idea, really.

We have been twice and loved it! A hidden gem.
Wasn't super crowded or noisy.
The food was very good if you like that type of food.
The entertainment was fun, especially when the kids were learning to Belly dance.
Well worth going to.

I love it. I never seen anyone treated differently when I dined solo. I love their
harira soup, couscous grilled chicken and steamed vegetable. I also like their hot mint tea.

Our family loved this restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was really good. We all got some form of couscous and some lovely tea.

Marrakesh is a place that is polarizing honestly. The service is good. The food is unique for WDW. In my experience, it's not for me. I like to try new things, and I tried it, and didn't like it. Also, the decor of the room was.....ok

Now I’m second guessing. Marrakesh vs. Spice Road. This is what happens when I am going solo and think about it for months! 😂

I am a woman and have dined there solo. I had wonderful service, better then any service in any of the restaurants in Italy. I can't imagine Disney not training them in the ways of our culture. My favorite dish is the beef couscous. I always ask for a side of their harissa sauce to spice it up a bit. Love their harissa, wish they bottled it up and sold it.

We love the place. Food is good, service is great. And because it isn’t burgers or pasta, there is usually a chance for a last minute reservation.

If you are not a picky eater, then this is an excellent restaurant. Also the entertainment is another reason to go!
