This is a question from Mrs JHenry's hubby....
I have been given the chance to choose a few options for dining.. are the belly dancers present during lunch time dining as well as dinner time??
And secondly .. are the food choices as good as the dinner choices?
thanks! ( as the mrs's stands over my shoulder....:hyper: )

I've eaten there twice for lunch and indeed the music and bellydancing are there for your entertainment. I would guess she comes out every 45 minutes or so based on that we saw her dance twice (different outfits, even!) during our lunch there last weekend. I don't know for sure if the menus are the same for lunch and dinner but I'm inclined to believe they are. Some of the lunch options I can think of off the top of my head are chicken & seafood bastilla, beef brewat rolls, or jasmina salad as appetizers, and the Berber feast, couscous (veggie, chicken, lamb), or lamb meshoui as main courses. I think there is a menu at allearsnet which will show you everything available for lunch and dinner there. It's a really good place to eat.

My family and I ate there in June, the food was very good and the belly dancer was excellent. We also saw her perform outside with the band MoRockin.
Here is the information on the belly dancer in the restaurant from Steven Soars website

Traditional Moroccan music and dance inside Restaurant Marrakesh.
Daily at 12:50, 1:50, 2:50, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:10pm
Belly Dancer begins 10 minutes after show begins.
Length of show: 25 minutes

We saw the belly dancer there for lunch along with the band. They actually performed for quite a while. The food was great. They were even offering a pre fix lunch special!

thanks
I've been having a hard time getting my own screen name on here so I'll have to use my wife's. I've tried everything people have told me to do but there still seems to be problems. :(

Mr. Henry - I think that can happen when you have 2 accounts in one house. My son & I used to have problems (now he has his own computer, cookies & e-mail)

Marrakesh is a wonderful place for lunch. Be sure to try the dessert sampler & coffee - It is delish! We all love the belly-dancer.

The lunch menu is basically the same thing as dinner and most times a little cheaper. Some of the Disney Restaurants have different menu's for the meals, but usually they just add a few more items and jack up the price.

If you check out AllEarsNet.com they have all the menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for all the parks and resorts. They are updated periodically.

If you go, the Lemon Chicken is excellent.
