Restaurant invitations--what size do you make them?

I'm going to personalize some of Natalie's blank invitations for my girls for our upcoming trip. I'll have them on MS Word, so I cand adjust margins and sizes. When printing invitations, what general size do you make them? Full piece of cardstock, 5 X 7, some other size?

I like to make mine anywhere from 4x6, 5x7 or 8.5x5.5 (half a sheet of paper). I prefer the smaller size as it doesn't use as much ink. There are invitation envelopes at Walmart (and office supply stores) that measure 4.75 x 6.5 that are good for 4x6 or 4.5x6.25 size invitation. I prefer to print them on cardstock, put them in the envelopes and slide them under the hotel room doors each night.
