You can. They typically seat you at the next available table for your party size, so it would be up to the discretion of the CM and dependent on how busy they are if they let you wait for one near the water.

San Angel Inn is the restaurant inside the pyramid that overlooks part of the Gran Fiesta boat ride. La Hacienda is outside the pyramid on the lagoon, but is only open for dinner.

There are two different restaurants which both have waterside tables.

Inside the pavilion you have San Angel Inn and the water is the water for the boat ride.

Outside of the pavilion you have La Hacienda de San Angel and the water is World Showcase lagoon.

San Angel Inn--It's our favorite Epcot restaurant. I think it's because it is authentic Mexican food and not Tex-Mex is what makes it stand out. Every meal we've eaten there has been outstanding (eaten there 3 different trips)--which really surprised me because it doesn't get as good of reviews as I think it should. It was even better than a popular Signature Restaurant we ate at last trip. Wish we could have eaten there twice instead of wasting the extra TS credit at the Signature.

So glad to hear that!! We booked it for our next trip since it's one of the only places in Epcot we hadn't tried. The reviews are the best, but the kids always think it looks neat in there and the menu looks good to me.

San Angel Inn is one of our favs. It is a must for us! We love it!
