Restaurant ideas for Pirate & Princess Party

I'm looking for dinner ideas for the Pirate & Princess party. That day we'll be eating a 12:00 lunch at WCC. I'm thinking it would be a good idea to eat somewhere (either park or a resort on the monorail) at 5:00 pm.

It will be our last night so I'm not sure I want to end our trip with a CS at MK. However, for anyone who has been to the P&PP, would a 5pm reservation at one of the monorail resort hotels work? We would then head over to the P&PP at 6:30pm.

Ideas? Thanks!

Back in 2006 we did the MNSSHP and had dinner at Chef Mickey's at 5:20. The monorail was CROWDED getting to MK and it was a long wait to get in. It wasn't a sold out night either.

If you can get seated at 5 and out early you should be good to go. Otherwise I would just eat CS.

We did P&P on 1/26 and were able to get in for the night between 5-5:30 (at least that is when we got there).

Yes, I think I'm resigned to CS...or maybe Crystal Palace? I'm hearing that it's best to get there by 5:15 to take advantage of the short lines for rides between the slow hours of 5-6 -- when non party goers are leaving the park.

What do you think of Crystal Palace around 7:30, if I can get it? Party is from 7 - midnight.

we are planning to eat at 1900 at 4:30 before the party hopefully we won't have trouble getting in !

Good idea. I don't think you'll have a problem. From what I read you should get there around 5:15 - 5:30.

What are you doing that morning? I understand it's a long evening. I think I need to rethink my res for WCC and maybe make it for later, for a late lunch then get into the park around 3:00. My 4 year old won't make it past 9pm anyway.

Which makes me wonder, is it even worth it to take a 4 year old who tires out around 9pm?

Advice is very much appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Someone just told us today to do Chef Mickey's at 3:00 then monorail over for 4 - 4:30. I think we're going to do this and let snacks tide us over later in the evening.

Sounds like a plan. What are you going to do the earlier part of the day? Any parks?

We are having a late lunch at 2PM at WCC. By the time we get seated and waited on and eat, and oh yeah, pay the bill I figure it will be after 3PM. And then we will take the boat over to MK and be ready to enter the park at 4PM for the party.
