Restaurant hours when the parks close early?

Can you have a late dinner at the castle, or some other plce inside a park when the parks have 7 pm or earlier closing times in the off season?

If restaurants are still open after the attractions close, do you need a hopper to get in? I'm thinking of the first day when we arrive so late we wouldn't want to use a hopper day.

You can not eat in the parks without paying to get in.
As far as the hours, I think they shorten all hours not just park hours.

Thanks. That answers my question...no late dinner the first night since I think the parks close around 6 or 7 in off season.

a great place for a first-night dinner w/out using hopper is at a resort... 1900 park fair at the grand floridian to see cinderella... o'hana (no characters, but true disney atmosphere) at the poly... chef mickeys (complete w/the fab 5) at the contemporary... and more!
