I highly recommend Artist Point for a quiet, adult dinner. Very good food...very good atmosphere. A nice quiet stroll thru Wilderness Lodge either before or after sets the mood just right. We like to take the elevator to one of the higher floors where they have little seating areas. We like to sit down and overlook the huge lobby from the vantage point.
We are in our 30's and we like:
Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney
Boatwrights Dinning Hall at Port Orleans Riverside Resort
For something campy try 50's Prime Time Cafe
And I personaly like Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney.
I didn't see anyone mention Tony's Town Square in MK. I love the atmosphere there. It's italian fare and I think there are plenty of reasonably priced items on the menu. I also think you would enjoy O'Hanas, lots to eat, no characters (sounds like you're probably past that age) and with the polynesian atmosphere it can be romantic. It's also not as pricey as many of the other resort restaurants and after dinner you could stroll the beach area.
