My boys are old enough that they won't want to do any characer meals as they are 9 and 11. I am trying to find one or two really cool restaurants that they would enjoy eating at. Any recommendations?

My boys are 10 and 7 - last year we did 50's Prime Time Cafe. They loved the waitress "Mom" with attitude. Mostly she was giving the "Grumpy Grampa" at the next table a hard time about not finishing his meal. I think they loved seeing an older person getting scolded. They are pretty well mannered (for boys that age) and they were just starring at the next table. The waitress was also really funny with our table. It's just a different experience. We are going back in January and I made this ADR already. The only repeat restaurant on the trip.

Enjoy!

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge - always great fun! We were there without our kids, but the adjacent table was a family with several kids in the preteen and teen range. Everyone was enjoying the fun.

Coral Reef.

My son enjoys watching the fish, turtles and sometimes divers.

They give you a guide to idenify the fish so that keeps him busy...and educated him too whether he likes it or not!;)

My boys are 8, 9 and 2. My 2 year old could care less where we eat ;) But these are the restaurants that I have booked for our trip.

Chef Mickey's (this is mainly for my 2 year old because he ADORES Mickey Mouse)
Crystal Palace
Trail's End
Coral Reef
Sci Fi Diner

We had a great time at 50's Prime Time, WCC, also Chef Mickey's is a favorite.

It's new, opening this week I think. I imagine the menu will be similar to the rainforest cafe .. maybe different names. I believe it's from the same parent company

I don't have any boys, or children for that matter, but I would imagine that Rainforest and the new TRex place would be good for boys. I would also think that they would like Sci-Fi at MGM. What boys don't like sitting in old cars, eating, and watching tv? :confused3 Off hand, I would also include Coral Reef, the Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you (the name escapes me right now), the ESPN Club, and San Angel Inn as other possibilities. I hope you find some places the boys love
