Can anyone tell me the approximate walking distance (in minutes) between Pizzafari and the Chakrandi (sp?) kiosk? I'm trying to plan a lunch at AK and these two spots would seem to satisfy the majority of our crowd. I just don't know if it is asking too much to have some of our crowd get food at one place and some at the other and then meet to eat.

They're pretty far apart. The pizza place is up near the front of the park and the chicken place is way back in Asia. It's a bit of a hike. By the way, the Chakranadi Chicken Shop is my favorite place for lunch at the AK!

Thanks for letting me know - I guess I'm going to have to come up with another plan for lunch (something that pleases everyone)! I love the Chakranadi place too - but I don't think we'll get to eat there this trip (picky kid eaters).

What about the Rainforest Cafe? We always try to eat at the RFC on each trip - either at Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom. They have a pretty varied menu and a really fun atmosphere. They usually aren't too crowded at lunch time, either. It would be more expensive, though. Tusker House is pretty good, too.

I was thinking of Tusker House... where in the park is it located? If we do Breakfastosaurus in the am and Tusker House for lunch, which way should we tour the park (clockwise or counterclockwise)?

Tusker House is in the Harambe, the African section. I think I'd go counter clock-wise. After breakfast at Donald's, hit all the stuff in Dinoland. Then move on to Asia. Then on to Africa. The crowds in AK really start to thin out as the afternoon wears on. If you can have a late lunch (which you should be fine to do after your big breakfast), you should find decent wait times for the safari ride by 2p.m. or so. After Africa, head on over to Camp Minnie-Mickey. You'll want to check out the show times for "Festival of the Lion King", though, because you shouldn't miss it! You could hit "It's Tough To Be a Bug" last. That's just my opinion, of course - but that's probably how I would do it.

Thanks to all for the suggestions!
